I think they only have a couple of grand and 2.9% financing at the moment. Not sure if there are targeted local offers.
Your chart showed they're  up 11% but toyota was was down 7%, in the states,  there was to be a low lease rate

Doesn't really matter about the diesel, it's not coming anyway.  And diesels are always slower than their gas counterparts in the 0-60 tests.  Just like at the Golf numbers, same thing.  That's not what diesels are about...

Not quite true.

2005-2006 Mercedes Benz E320 CDI Diesel 0-60mph of 6.6 seconds
2005 Mercedes Benz E320 Gas 0-60 mph of 7.6 seconds
2006 Mercedes Benz E350 Gas 0-60 mph of 6.7 seconds

Thanks, was just really looking at VW, a more attainable vehicle.  MB not so much, for me...

How much money does Altima have on the hood in the States to be about the only one up in sales

Weather has been a big factor in the States in 2014 so far.  Altima will be fleet sales.

My parents were in town this week to look for a replacement for their 2010 Camry SE which was recently returned from a 4-year lease. Actually... it wasn't returned because it was purchased by one of my siblings who was in the market for a good 2nd car.

After some discussion, they narrowed down the choice between the Camry and Accord. My parents live ~450km from the nearest dealer support and have owned multiple Honda's and Toyota's over the years with no issues. They just didn't have the same confidence in the Mazda's reliability so the Mazda6 was excluded.

After the test drives they decided to switch to the 2014 Accord EX-L this time. I did take it out for a run last night and while it is big for my taste, it's a very nice sedan. For a large car it feels surprisingly nimble and light on it's feet. The suspension tuning provided a good ride/handling tradeoff and the 17 inch wheel/tire combo is better suited to our horrible roads here in NL. The steering was noticably better than their old 2010 Camry SE.

As many reviewers have said, the CVT in the Accord is very well done. For the most part, it tries to emulate a traditional auto by switching between a series of preset ratios. It is only when you try to aggressively accelerate that you sense that it is a CVT as the transmission tries to hold the engine in the sweet spot for torque and then changes ratios to accelerate.

Interestingly, the multi-angle back-up camera, blind spot camera, lane departure and front collision warning systems were popular options with my parents, as was the dual-zone auto climate control.

With an EPA combined fuel economy of 7.8L/100km, this would be just an amazing car for a long distance road trip.

The Accord is a great car.  And the power and fuel economy is quite similar to the Mazda6.  They are both above average for reliability.  Not sure of any known issues with the Mazda6, nor this generation Accord.  Not sure why your parents exclude the Mazda6.  Accords from the past had transmission problems, so should they be exluded?

I think the exclusion of the 6 was probably more about the many positive experiences they have had with Toyota and Honda vehicles over the years. I actually encouraged them to test drive the 6. :-\

Nicest Accord in a while.  Might be Honda's nicest looking car right now...

Agreed... I was surprised to read some of the negative comments about the new Accord's styling. I think it is one of the best looking sedans on the road right now.

just got our first 2015 200 in stock... nice car. took it for a spin... it really is a nice car, not just in comparison with the 2014, but just in general... nice to be able to say that!

but first thing i've noticed is that the back passengers headroom is lacking... boo!

but yeah.. sleek in person. maybe it will actually compete now, not just because it's the cheapest in the class!

Not sure if I asked you before.  Some Chrysler dealerships rent vehicles.  2 summers ago, my brother rented a Caravan from a Chrysler dealership, does yours do that?  And if so, any convertibles?

just finished reading that comparison... not bad... seems to be the way these days... they are all so close now that there isn't a bad car...

i just love that the 200 just edged out the honda... not sure if that would be my choice as well, but interesting that it's the way it came out there... especially when the 200 just had the 4 banger.

and solstice... umm... kinda. we actually do have an in-house lease company... i just don't know if we have any convertibles on the road at present.

The interior on the 200 looks pretty good in the pics...amazing how far Chryco has come since the pre bankruptcy efforts!

You can't just have your characters announce how they feel.

That 3rd gen Sebring was the worst. My brother had one as a courtesy car. The 2nd gen Sebring was a better car, sadly.

Nice to see at least one magazine doesn't automatically and by default declare the Accord to be the always and everlasting BEST in class.

Grahme Fletcher recently featured a new 200 on Test Drive on MotoringTV and said it was actually very good...typically, Chrysler's offerings in this class aren't that great, so his expectations probably weren't all that high, but in any event, he said it was a very good car, period...if you are in the market for that class of vehicle, it should be on the list to test drive (his was the V6 trim).
When you've lost the argument, admit defeat and hit the smite button.

Didn't  Motortrend declare the Mazda6 the Best in class on the last comparison?
