I just saw news that the PC in Ontario is scrapping electric vehicle incentives??

Yes, he's talking about it...though I don't think it's been officially announced as scrapped.

How fast is my 911?  Supras sh*t on on me all the time...in reverse..with blown turbos  :( ...

She filled out her rebate onWednesday and wonder about get a charging station before they kill that rebate
She does not have AWD but has the extended battery
The panel gag look pretty good, I did not really go over that much
I did not to find any problems with it in front of her
The red did cost an extra $1300, like she said you cannt take it with you  ;D

My boss just ordered his in red, too.

With the rebate slated to be scrapped, I guess it'll be even harder to get one now.

LOL at this:

Elon Musk
[emoji818]
@elonmusk
They also poured the concrete & built the whole assembly line using scrap we had in warehouses. And it’s way better than the other GA line that cost hundreds of millions!

That’s a classic Trump tweet if I ever saw one.

It’s not a sign of failure, it’s a win!  Way better, and we built it from scrap metal and old tea bags!

Saw one of these at our local Sobeys. Had a look around, honestly, its bland, bland as f#$k. You can try to spice it up with automatic gas caps and Ipad interfaces but this thing doesn't scream $70k car, at all.
Lighten up Francis.....

Wife's cousin came back, stopped in Port Hope to charge up
We took them out to lunch
As we are sitting there , she says she left her phone in the car, she forgot to put it in her bag,  the only way to lock the car is with her phone,
So we head back to the charging station to get her phone so she can lock the car , lucky car was still there  ;D
Learning  curve  :rofl2:

More lunacy.  Now proposing a pickup truck to be built in 2020.   ::)

Previously, he stated that production will begin in 2020. Of course, before that happens Tesla first needs to develop and launch the Model Y crossover and fulfill its promise of selling a $35,000 entry-level Model 3.

Isn't the whole premise of buying a Tesla is that even if you're paying for the juice, you're still saving so much money compared to gasoline that the car literally pays you money in no time?  Free supercharger access shouldn't be a big thing, then, right?

She did say it showed the cost one to charge up the battery , on her iPhone , it was about $7.50
In the RX to go about the same distance it would be about $30, in the Prius it would be about $15

That makes the payback period of the III over a Prius a long, long, long time.

Just about any time saying you are buying a new car to save money you are just lying to your self
In a year or two, I should be  quitting work, my truck should only have 170,000 km on it.
It is paid off and in excellent condition , probably only driving maybe 10,000 km with it than
It wouldn't be  worthwhile to trade it in on  a  new efficient car .

Oh, yes, buying something expensive is no way to save money!  But, Tesla has long touted that their MSRP is "net" a lot lower than the figure suggests thanks to the huge savings from not buying gas.

And yes, fuel costs for the Tesla (kWh are it's fuel) are a lot lower than ICE cars, but compared to hybrids, the savings are much smaller and really takes some of the stuffing out the argument for paying the Tesla premium.
