Well it is the RS model 

RS combines sporty design with enhanced performance (versus non-NISMO RS models) – including 215 horsepower, 210 lb-ft of torque and Helical Limited-Slip Differential. It also offers additional structural rigidity and larger brakes.

The special NISMO RS interior treatment includes genuine Recaro® front seats, carbon fibre-look finishers, special red-and-black colour theme with suede, Alcantara® and leather appointments. It is equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission, and on sale at Nissan Canada dealers nationwide.

I don't understand that pricing strategy either...MT and FWD only when the chassis already offers an AWD variant?  I'm guessing it keeps the cost down - can't imagine any other reason for it (or that it's meant to compete with the Fiesta ST)?

LSD...215HP...6spd manual....just needs to be a little lower with some wider tires and that looks like a formidable entry into the hot hatch war. If they offered the awd with anything but the CVT, I would honestly take one as a DD, they have slowly started to grow on me....help me...

oh, i k now what you mean, Fob..  when we went to test drive the new Rogue, the juke sitting there was quite pretty.... i mean, ..umm... acceptable.

Yeah, dont get me wrong...I dont think it will be fighting with a Jag E-type for the title of most beautiful car ever....but I dont know, the black with the Nismo stripes...yeah...I like it.

It's FWD only because it's manual only. To go AWD they need to use the CVT.

If they are sourcing their current parts bin, yes. We all know they can DO anything. But they need to make a product economically.
