When the models go on sale this summer, the S60 Polestar will be priced from $64,895. The longroof V60 will only be $2,000 extra at $66,895.

This price segment is really crowded now, would be tempted to pick up a Macan for that kind of money. Tough decision. Sounds like a very special car for the right person though.

For people who love wagons, this is an awesome offering. The CTS-V Sportwagon will be gone soon and Volvo is the only one offering a hot long roof for under $100k. The M-B E63 AMG is $105,900.

I think a similarly equipped Macan would end up being more expensive. You have to pay extra for leather and HID's with the Porsche.

No word yet on Canadian numbers but the US is only getting 120 units for MY2015.

The Volvo of Toronto shop said they are getting ONLY one of each. I imagine the pickings in Canada will be slim.

Agree 100% and even the T6-R Design for under $55K will be all by itself.

The Macan starts at $54,300. I was playing around and trying to build something under 60K, would be tough but I'm sure I could easily build something I would want for the same or less as a V60-Polestar ($68K). 

FTR - I'm not saying these two cars compare against each other, two totally different weapons.

Agreed it is quite expensive. Those Brembo brakes and Ohlin shocks must add a few $ to the bill, not counting all the other mods done by Polestar. It's really the ultimate Volvo.

No kidding. I had my face pressed up against the glass on the S60 Pole at the auto show, really looks great.

I wonder how much more "firm" this thing will be vs a RD?
