I got my G1 in 2005, and my G by 2007.

Take that old farts.  :P

G1?

When I got mine you got a 365 first and had a year to get your licence or you had to get another 365. I wanted to get both on the same day but they wouldn't let me.  Had to wait a week or something to get an appointment.

August 11 1966.  Took the 'L' plates off and drove round to the pub for a beer and then drove back to work...all in a borrowed Morris Minor.

:rofl2:    The olden days when the world was just a place without a BILLION useless rules or ignored without consequence.

Same here.  Drove around the block.  Insurance was $25 per year.  Plate was $2.00   Triumph TR4 $200.   Gas was 12 cents a litre (50 cents a gallon), beer was $4.50 for 24.  Weed $20/ounce.  Smokes were 65 cents KING LARGE!

I'd go back, but TV was too brutal.  :)

Did you grow up in the 1930s? :P
You can't just have your characters announce how they feel.
That makes me feel angry!

That would be circa 1969.  :)  The North York Board of Education had to build another parking lot at our school because of how many kids drove and it wasn't in their parent's cars.  Ask AB, the 70's killed.
