Not surely I really like the paraphrasing that was written.  Why not just copy and past the press release which is more complete and accurate.  Also it includes all the factors that KBB evaluates to select a winner..  I knew some, but would have been nice if that was mentioned in your statement, so I didn't have to look it up... Way to go Mazda...

Jeeeze....it wasn't long ago that a bunch of us were whining about too many "cut and paste" stories from PR departments in this forum and why didn't Autos.ca add some editorial content. Give the poor guy a break.

I have no problem with them adding to something to the press release, but the entire press release was not there.

It wasn't there because it was a damn formatting nightmare and we wanted to get it up relatively quick.

My 2007 Mazda 3 would like a word with KBB about rust....

That was 7 years ago, get over it...go buy a Lexus

Considering Mazdas from 2003 to 2012 had serious problems with rust, suspension top plates, serpentine belts and rear quarter wiring, there's nothing to point towards better quality in their new models.

Several reviewers have already complained about rattles on 2014 production press cars and the infotainment system is known for random crashes, reboots, blown fuses and hangs.  Yeah, certainly #1....

How many 2nd gen Mazda3 do you see with rust?  There is no TSB on it like the first generation.  We all know the MPV, Protégé, and first gen Mazda3 had the rust issue.  Not my brothers 8 year old Tribute, or my sisters 2nd generation Mazda3, or my Mazda6 (first gen), nor my Mazda5.  Nothing outside of maintenance on my Mazda6 when I sold it, mind you only 108,000km.  With the Mazda5 at 75k, only the HVAC light kept going out, they fixed that, for free... No rattles, and I beat up the Mazda5!

Yup.  Despite my Protege being rusty, it has been very trustworthy, despite being beat on, autocrosssed, tracked, etc.  Only issues were stabilizer end links, a couple of seized brake calipers, and the drivers seat track got a little worn out around 150k kms which they replaced under extended warranty.  And the attached picture is what happened yesterday.

Buick is doing quite well..  If I didn't want manual vehicle, the Verano could be great commuter car.  And getting a used Regal T, is an awesome deal.  Encore is selling great, wonder what is around the corner for them, I guess the next gen Lacrosse...

The next major model launch for Buick is likely for 2015, the compact CUV similar in size to the Equinox. It's tentatively called the Anthem and it introduces the new D2UKS platform which will eventually replace the Delta and Theta platforms. It fills the gap between the subcompact Encore and the Enclave.

I haven't heard anything lately about the proposed Grand National revival on the ATS platform.
On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.

Well that's good to hear, as the Enclave and Encore are good vehicles, but are too big or too small for the average (4 people family).  I suppose it will be 2L turbo base power plant, optional 3.6L....

Yup, so far it looks like the 2.5L, 2.0L turbo, and the 3.6.
