I will seriously consider trading the B for one of these.   German, overpowered, AWD, hatchback. What's not to like.

Mean machine.   Any idea how it compares in size to the (not available in NA) A45 AMG?  This almost looks like an "allroad" version of the A.

Generally like the look, but is it just me, or do the snouts of the CLA and GLA seem too big for the size of the vehicle??  The front features (intakes, headlights, mercedes badge) look good, but disproportionate to the car behind them.

They all share the same architecture so the similarities are there. Wait for the next range of Infinitis to come out based on the same chassis components.

I really want to like this, and the CLA45...but I really, REALLY hate that interior (and same goes for the new Mazda3, which is similar, and any other adoption of a glue-on tablet).

Also, MB, please drop the stupid keypad on the centre console...it's such a waste of space and looks awful.

^^^ Fortunately for me ( if not for my bank balance) I like the interior that is just about the same as the B  and I don't mind the funny looking front end.   That glue on tablet works really well. Well positioned for a quick glance, bright enough in daylight and has good resolution with a reasonable text size ( it shows the song title on XM big enough to read but not so big as to obscure the rest of the screen)

I do agree that the key pad is not a lot of use unless one insists on phoning people who are not in ones contact list.

Looks very sharp. Will be interesting to watch this segment over the next while...some compelling choices.

But the mirrors. Mercedes needs to design some new mirrors. The same ones have been bolted on to many models and some just don't fit very well. I think these appeared a few years ago on the E Class, I have them on the Berlin taxi.

Sort of a taller hatchback....Infiniti EX type thing. I feel dirty saying it but it looks pretty nice.

Looking again at the pictures...It looks lower in the body than the B...probably it is the A-class shell with less headroom.   Anyway I like but don't need the extra headroom in the B class.

I saw the production Macan and prototype GLA45 AMG at LA and they are about the same size. The Macan actually might be a smidge shorter.
