Hennessey supercharges the new Corvette and it hits 200 mph. Neat video to watch. Beautiful sound that car makes.

I thought the new and even the recent top of the line Vette does that in stock trim.

I read that the Henessey doesn't have that much more top speed, but does get there somewhat quicker than the stock Vette.

My ZR-1 owning neighbour has been pestering the dealer over the new Z-06 (evidently that's the name) and they "heard" that the HP number will start with a "6."

Seems like a lot of $$$ to spend for that extra 5 MPH, but isn't that usually the case.

The 2012 ZR-1 had 638 HP already.
