So the new line will be: Low sales ILX, the newcomer TLX and on the top the other low sales RLX. Quite unpredictable line of products!

Let me guess "The sole transmission offered will be a 6 speed Automatic with paddle shifters"  :(

The current TSX is a great unit.   Not the best on mpg though.  Still going to be hard to replace.  I wouldn't want all my chips in a Acura store.

Yeah I'm questioning this move, too.

I would think their line-up should be (smallest to largest):
Legend (reincarnated)<TSX<TLX<RLX<RDX<MDX
All others shall perish.

Integra<Legend<(Something RL sized with RWD but not called RL)

The SUV line is fine.

I don't understand why the X is so necessary. The TL nameplate is getting killed and that was probably the best known Acura sedan...even after the 4th gen flop.
You can't just have your characters announce how they feel.
That makes me feel angry!

"...getting killed" is a little much, don't you think?

The addition of the X likely denotes the availability of AWD, but is more so probably a product of a study group suggestion that Generation "X", the targeted age group (birth dates from the early 1960s to the early 1980s), feels some sort of nostalgia with the letter X.

Hmmm....I do like the sounds of TLX better than TL.  It works!
