IMO, the problem is that it's super long in the tooth.
Does it really need it though??
In an effort to remain competitive, it does some major updating. I prefer the simple, logical buttons. But it does need some softer materials, upgrade on things like Navigation, using the camera from the Accord would be nice, pain in the butt that you need to get the top of line to get leather, and Bluetooth. This is the last Honda vehicle that currently does this.., To save some money, I would limit it to two trims, and have packages that the dealer can add...
Overall though, I really like this vehicle, looks better than the Avalanche. I prefer the exterior look of the Ford Explorer Sport trac, but the interior and utility of the Ridgeline, with the Honda V6, and better ride.....It is a contender for a tow vehicle, we shall see. Because by the time I need one, we should know more about the new one, and whether newer = better?
