The pricing seems decent but as always the devil is in the details (or should I say option pricing)  That 41900 250hp AWD model looks good but does it turn into 50K+ once it's "well equipped"?

^ :iagree: option pricing will be an issue but at the same time where else are you going to run if you want a premium wagon without ponying up the $80k for an E-Class? I might be forgetting something but I don't think there are any other contenders.

Yeah, I don't count the Subaru Outback as a wagon anymore,

The pricing seems decent, and since this is based on the 2014 S60 T5 pricing, it comes with everything that I want.  The T5 Premier adds a few other things, notably: leather, moonroof (which the wagon already has), power passenger seat.  But I am not interested in the stand alone packages like Blis (safety), or the Cold Climate Package (steering wheel, windshield, etc), maybe just the stand alone HID....

That T5 AWD looks like a decent value (option dependent).   How does the V60 compare in the size to the 3 touring and A4 allroad?  I'd hope it's bigger as those 2 are pretty tight inside for a family hauler.

The S60 has been know to have a tighter rear seat compared to the new BMW, I don't think the V60 will have addressed this, as this been on sale for awhile everywhere else.  Just the cargo area is bigger...

Seems like it's pretty small. Edmunds gives a length of 182.5" and rear seat legroom of 33.5"  Cargo capacity (all seats in place) is shown as 15.2 Cubic feet....that cargo # may be a typo as it seems really small  :-\  They do mention that it's 10 inches shorter than the 70.

+1  I also prefer the smaller wagon and since this would have more room than my GTI it would feel big to me.

So the base model is $50 more than the base S60 sedan, and the T6 and R-Design models are actually cheaper than their sedan counterparts.

So the tittle takes out of the context a vehicle for 39k that isn't available until the next second half of the year...

The back seat looks tight. I recall testing a V70 wagon back in 2009 and thinking it was tight.

Probably somewhere between the V50 and the V70....guess I will find it out at the autoshow.. not too concerned as the backseat was only used by an adult twice for the year...
