^^ It's a good wine for sure, for the price. However, since we all started drinking it here and raving about it I personally think the 2018 bottles are not as good as the 2017 bottles.
Not to worry, I would say that this Rum barrel aged Mondavi is my new favourite. I prefer it to the Bourbon Barrel Cab also by Mondavi. They are both 14.5%.

Took a flyer on this the other week as it was $5 off & bought 2 bottles. Well worth it! First Ontario wine I've bought in years & I'd say the LCBO description is bang on - chocolate, prune, toast and nuts; dry, medium-bodied - and I'd say a bit of oak as well.

Pickup up a bottle of this tonight to go with my steak au poivre dinner. Nice full bodied fruity flavor, if a little sweeter than I prefer. Admittedly, I bought it more for the cool Owl label.

Could only handle one glass though after my heavy dinner and will have to finish it off tomorrow.

Back for a return engagement!
This is an excellent Cab at this price point, and a super deal when it's occasionally on sale. The time in bourbon barrel adds a lovely round tone to the whole thing. This is a lot of wine for the money - it has the heft of a $30 wine.
