I don't drink a lot of wine but I do enjoy it occasionally. Finally got a chance to try the wine from my uncle's vineyard in Argentina. It was fantastic.

Hello,  where did you get that??? Love to buy a bottle.

You know that you could import a few cases, right?  You know, to share...

Yeah, trade beers for wine, Oliver.   ;)

My uncle lives in Montreal and my parents visited him around Christmas and got a couple bottles for us. The wine has only been privately imported at this point so it isn't commercially available. The 2015 vintage should be available late this year in Quebec and Alberta.

I'm definitely going to try to get my hands on some later this year. Might even luck out and get some more of the 2014.

It's fairly pricey though. I think he's targeting $60/bottle or so.

Pinot Noir isn't one of my favourite grapes, but curiosity got the best of me with this one.
I've never seen a Pinot from Australia before.  It's in today's (July 22) Vintages release
Curious to see if this is any different.

Tried this Cab last night that Mrs. Railton bought me while she was getting beer at the LCBO. Big and smooth, just great.

I’ve still got a couple bottles of Osoyoos Larose that I bought last summer. I wonder how much they’ll fetch on the black market?  :rofl2:

Hah, I always do a  ::) when I hear of politicians touting the benefits of these international free trade deals when we don't even have free trade within Canada itself.

Wife and i were just saying today that we need to update our wine rack.  Just a few drinkable bottles left.  The rest are gift wines that we don't like, or scared to drink, and some Pellegrino Water.  Time for a road trip.  :P

Funny I am halfwya through the same bottle.

It's a bit rich for my blood but I'll pick up a few extras at $5 off.

My current go-tos are the Montes Alpha Can Sauv and the Catena Malbec (the $20 not the $50 version).
You can't just have your characters announce how they feel.
That makes me feel angry!

Only four bottles left worth noting, along with a couple of bottles of Prosecco for the wife's mimosas.  ;D  She drinks mostly red wines, but some whites and rosés during the summer months, or with certain foods.

Catena Malbec (the $20 not the $50 version).

Yes, that one is nice for the $

Will have to pick up some of that Mondavi since it's -$5
^ That bottle of Conundrum... i'm sure i have had that, label didn't look like that one though

This is one i bought a couple weeks ago on the recommendation of a friend who has similar tastes as mine.
Told me it's among the best Cab's they have ever had.  $40 is a bit on the pricey side for me, but decided to give one a go.
Haven't drank it yet, probably will next week.
