Bought a pizza at the grocery store and heated it up in the trailer.
We’re in the States, and would normally buy wine from where we’re traveling, but it’s such a crap shoot to find a California wine that we like. Neither of us are fans of hugely oaked fruit bombs, which seems pretty standard for California.
For that matter, I’m not crazy about Ripassos or Amarones, either, but my wife likes them.
We’ve had some Oregon Pinots that we liked, but those can be pricy. Anyway, my wife bought a nice Cotes du Rhône Villages: nothing exciting, but an enjoyable vin de table and went great with the grocery-store pizza.
