We'll looked at a few of these.  That seems like a typical price for used ($18K)
I think new they start around $20K

This is the first time I see one with the "garage" feature though.
We have a ways to go for this price point - LOL

We should be looking between $10K and $15K.... or we could live it up and spend borrow more

Was wondering where this thread was... Not good at searching I guess.  Anyways, I saw one like that at the RV show yesterday...

Not sure about weight etc. but this is effing cool.

Claims 2000 lbs. dry which is darn good.  Very excellent effort.  Seafoam Green for me!

Speaking of TTs, I bought this unit in January to replace the dinosaur that I am currently using at my cottage as an axillary cabin (due to land use restrictions).

It was nice and quiet.  First the day the show opened, got there at 4pm, straight from work, went with my mom.

Never do like the layout.  Wish it was organized by class, then brand.  Instead it's by dealer.  Too many cottage style units.  It should be RV's only.  I also stayed away from 5th wheels and motorhomes.

Those Vista Cruisers by Airstream are super nice.  But way out of price range.  Which is $16k-$20k, but my wife says $12k-$14k.  But she doesn't go to the shows, so she doesn't realize a basic pop up is $8-9k.

Niagara Trailers was there of course, was talking to them for a bit, they are going to be a Rockwood dealer come spring.  But they aren't sure if they are going to bring the mini-lite line in.  The Rockwood Roo (hybrids) for sure, as they are quite popular.  Forgot to ask about the A-frame rockwoods.

Thanks.  Traded in a 2002 25 ft Citation in great shape for trailer of that age primarily because it's stored in doors from Sept-June.  Everything still worked; AC which was rarely used, hot water tank, furnace which is used a lot and the boogie man in these things ... the frig.  Any of those things stop working and it has no trade value.

Plus the Citation had the older heavy steel frame and it was a pig move in a really tight and hilly space.  The white aluminum siding was depressing and never stayed clean looking.   No slide, head almost touched ceiling .... had to go!  This new one should blend in better.  Green spray bomb and it would really blend in.  :D

So for those that like prices; (they deliver and pick up the trade), so $17,300 plus tax.  Only in January.

And of course the final catalyst was the US-Loonie problem which in my view will be 70 cents in a year long term which makes these things too pricey.

Did some looking just now, and didn't see that model.  Any link ?  2000lbs (that's what most tent trailers weight) sounds too good to be true, sure it's not 2000 kg?

I think CamAm RV dealer (from London) is supposed to be there.   Wonder if you talked to them at all.
Curious to see what does people are like.....   they show some crazy towing combos online (which doesn't make any sense to me)

The Vista Cruiser does look nice, but certainly on the high price range for sure

You won't find the "Trail-Lite" brand again until 2016.  THOR Industries bought the factory in Indiana and moved some of their Motorhome production into it "apparently" because of its advanced fiberglass processes.

Dry weight is 3900 lbs, net carrying capacity is 1820 and hitch weight is 440.

Overall length is 28.2 ft,  Height including AC is 9'8" which was critical because my garage door is only 9'11".  :P

Headroom is 6'7".

Looking at the spec sheet the 23 RBS is the about same and the 24 BHS is heavier.

The other thing that was incidental to the purchase, but really nice is that these units have sealed "basements".  I dunno, maybe that is standard now among TTs, but I was happy about that.

Looks great!....By BIL used a TT as an axillary cabin for the same reason until he got a letter.

Looks like my son is getting this unit
http://travel-mortrailersales.com/?property=2011-23bhd-visa

Wish him many years of fun rving.  Towing with a truck I assume?  Too big for mid-size SUV's or vans.
