Yeah I'm not getting a pop-up.
Fair Enough. They're not for everyone. Me? I love 'em. I'd replace our current pop-up with another pop-up, if I could. I'd want a little bigger, so a 12' box with king/queen beds either end, as well as a dining slide to open up a bit of floor space. I love the feeling of 'camping' that you get with a pop-up, while still being up off the ground in a comfy bed.
Unfortunately for me my wife doesn't want another pop-up. She wants a hardside trailer. I think we'll compromise with a hybrid. Max 18-20' box, but with a hybrid, because the beds fold down from the ends, you effectively have the floor space of a 26-27'er. I want our trailer to be easy to tow, because I'd like the option of going out west to the Rockies, or driving out East to visit my family in NB. I don't want to be lugging around a heavy 24-26' trailer that will result in me white knuckling it for a solid week of 8-hour a day drives.
