I was at the point where I knew it was circa 1940, and definitely a Chrysler product, hadn't quite figured out if it was Plymouth or Desoto.
My diesel car self-identifies as an electric vehicle.

I think it is a 41 since the 40 had longer chrome "whiskers" at the top of the grill. Years can be a little fuzzy though.

I did some research once Dent identified the car.  The '41 had more chrome bars in the grille than the '40 (11 to 8, I believe).  Also, the '41 was missing the Plymouth nameplate on each side of the car, just below the front point in the hood, that the '40 had.
