Q50 vs IS350
« on: September 23, 2013, 10:06:44 pm »
So these are two cars that are currently on my radar.  I haven't driven either, but have driven the IS250 F-Sport last week.  Came away very impressed with the interior, especially the seats.  I wasn't overly fond of the center stack of the IS, but I don't think it would be a deal breaker.  The Q50 I haven't even seen the in the flesh yet, but am heading to Halifax in November and plan on testing driving one then.

I priced up both vehicles as to how I'd buy them and the price is extremely close........IS350 F-Sport is $48,950 and Q50 Sport is $47,950.  Both are RWD models.  Our local Lexus dealership won't have an IS350 in stock for another 3 months so it looks like I'll have a lengthy wait to test drive either of them.  :(

Yeah, that's what the salesperson said.  They haven't been able to get a single IS350 in yet and aren't due to get for another 3 months.  I'd have no issues ordering a car and waiting a few months for it to arrive, but I definitely gotta test drive one first.

Come out here.  Buy one, drive back.  Good excuse for a roadtrip.   ;D
