The dealer said they can sell you one, do the maintenance , but can not do the warranty work
So it appears I was wrong about Nissan dealership doing the warranty work on Infiniti

Seems kind of shortsighted of Infiniti. They don't have the sales volume to have a full coast to coast dealer network. It would seem to make sense to let Nissan dealers do this kind of thing (warranty work) in areas where there is no Infiniti dealer. We were willing (somewhat reluctantly) to put up with Moncton as our BMW dealer (150 kms away) but having Halifax as the closest Infiniti dealer (425kms away) put Infiniti right out of the running.

Selling is probably a private/under the table arrangement with the closest Infiniti dealer (deal would run through the Infiniti dealer's books as their "sale"...Nissan dealer would get a commission). Doing warranty would require permission/involvement of  Infiniti Canada and there for unlikely

Was just about to post just that. Our sales dept did that Sprinter vans before we were a Sprinter dealer.

This thread raises an interesting question. Infiniti is outsold by a lot compared to Lexus,BMW, MB etc.  Anybody know the number of Infiniti dealers in Canada compared to the others?

Not a totally up to date list. It doesn't have Mills Infiniti in Edmonton. Wonder if anymore are off the list.
