Besides losing 150 HP, passenger space, trunk space, better interior, rwd and ultimate good looks, that is...?

oh, and besides being called "ret@rd" or "stoopid". i already am all those.. i got an e46 FGC, remember?

You would get a vastly inferior vehicle with wrong wheel drive and loosing one of the best driving machines on the planet.....why a Mini?? How about a Miata or FR-S??

My brother did almost the same thing...he dumped his 2007ish 335i for a Mini Clubman. He wanted to reduce cost, get enough room to transport his bike and be rid of RWD for winter. He said the Mini was tons of fun to drive but road harshly and ultimately no better in winter than the BMW. He has since come to like small cars and switched back to BMW driving an X1 now. He also says the BMW/Mini dealership took good care of him all the way through (one of the GTA outfits).

yeah... i so very much like the idea of Mini... but the reality is, they are expensive, not very reliable, hard riding and very small.. not that different from my current car.

Miata would be great. darn toothin too expensive though. maybe S2k?

They are getting harder to find as the tuner and racing crowd continue to molest them. I see great AP2's in the GTA in the $22k-$25k range.

I'd stay away from buying an S2000.......worst unreliable POS ever!
