As the owner of a 2013 Boxster...hands down, the Cayman. I'd rather push my FCG than drive a GM.

I saw a white one today in Windsor.  Brand new...driving by.  Not sure if it was a GM factory test car.  At first I thought it was a Z06, because you could see the black "hole" form the hood scoop and the white seems to mask the creases of the new car.  Then as it passed, I could see the black gills, then finally the black trim around the tails and their design.  Yep...it was a C7.
How fast is my 911?  Supras sh*t on on me all the time...in reverse..with blown turbos  :( ...

Finally casting my vote after thinking about it for a while and I'm going with the Cayman even though I still think the Corvette is an awesome car.

Do your sun dress and parasol match the colour of your Boxter?

I'm sure you'll get the opportunity to do just that.

I think the Cayman is the more beautifully car.  I don't think many would argue.

But the most performance between the two?  Different story.

Kind of like comparing a straight scotch to a strawberry daiquiri. Not that there's anything wrong with that. ;D

GM's strategy of going down the pay scale and offer performance to the masses at lower margins will not pay off in the ling run IMO. A car company must crate an emotional response beyond the tape measure, that is where Porsche succeeds.

For me this is the only Corvette that gives me an emotional response, a 1963 Split Window:

I'm sure you'll get the opportunity to do just that.

You think? Funny, the automotive world disagrees. Porsche is ranked #2 behind Lexus in overall reliability and the Boxster is ranked #1 in luxury sports coupes for reliability. Having owned the previous model, I can attest that it was the most reliable car I've ever owned.

I wish you well. A friends of mine has one. His experience is very much "mixed".

Guess you didn't win the IMS Lottery on your last Boxster...unlike many others.
