Not hauling but I do most of my motorcycle tire changes on the tailgate/bed of the Ridgeline.

Awesome trailer. My friend recently acquired this barn find trailer with minimal rust and he wants to upgrade it. I'll show your trailer to him for some ideas this week when we install the new shocks and suspension from 4Wheelonline onto his Wrangler.

Had a guy lined up to build a storage shed for my property by next weekend but he backed out a few days ago.  Long story short, but I'm stuck trying to put a 10' x 16' shed together myself by next weekend.  I have an electrician lined to install my power and an excavator guy to dig up and bury the line for next Saturday.  The electrician is going away for a month the week after my work is completed.  My friend's trailer that i normally borrow has a blown tire and won't be fixed for a few days so I had to go to plan B and use the old faithful kayak trailer.  ;D Probably should have done it in a few more trips though as the pressure treated stuff is much heavier than the kd.  I was a little clinched up during most of the 8km trip home with the pt load. ::)  Trailer works great for long pieces of wood though and really easy to balance 16' pieces.

First time putting plywood in the box but it fit in there pretty well.  I bought a box extender jic but decided not to use it and is still unopened, so I'll take that back.  One ratchet strap held them down snug.  Stuck a few 2x6x10s in there too to keep some weight off the trailer.  There's a load of 6 concrete pavers in the box and a bunch of other stuff underneath the plywood as well.  Got most of it home in two good loads.  ;D

Getting the job done! Trailer setup looks pretty good, I wouldn't have been too worried running that.

Your grass is looking good too!

You pick your stuff up from Kent?

My brother is turning his garage in to 'living space', framing a floor over the existing slab, and filling in the garage doors.  He's making plenty of trips to Kent.

Thanks gents!  Got most of it pre-assembled in my garage.  Just waiting for the excavator guy to extend my pad so I can get started.

Yup, the Kent in Rothesay.  It's a smaller store than the big one in the City but with far superior service.  Given the choice I'll make the longer drive to Sussex before I'll go to the big store in SJ.  Picked up a few things at HD after waiting way too long for service at the SJ Kent.

Cost is a little over $4k at this point but that includes approx $800 worth of new Dewalt tools from CTC.  Realized I needed some new tools when I started this project.   :P  I'm hiring a guy to help me put it together.

How did you load that thing? Couple guys? Or forklift required? Our new house came with one similar and it's in sort of a silly spot in the master bedroom, I'd like to move it somewhere else but not sure what it would take. They look very heavy....

Well, at the store, 3 teenagers loaded it, when we got to his house, 3 not teenagers got it out of the truck. I will let you know what its like moving it around his house this weekend, its in his garage right now. He has a heavy duty dolly and a 4 level split, so I'll either have a positive, no problem report, or I won't be back here due to the thing falling off and squishing me like a bug  ;D

I once had a 600 lb safe in the back of the Yukon. Smoothed out the ride nicely.  ;D

Two people got it through the house and up the stairs with some lifting straps I picked up at Canadian Tire. Think it was these ones: https://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/forearm-forklift-adjustable-moving-straps-790-lb-capacity-orange-9-4-ft-x-3-in-2-pc-0460622p.0460622.html?rq=forearm%20forklift#srp

Worked pretty good and was surprisingly manageable.
