I've never driven anything short of an S-Class that soaks up the rough road like our Highlander.  That floaty cornering and body lean really pays off when the potholes become potcaverns.

I think the big SUVs are probably some of the best vehicles for rough roads.  Soft suspensions, lots of travel and ground clearance really helps.

I would bet that they seldom go over 20km on the busy streets of Karachi, so potholes are less of an issue.
Salt and extreme cold/hot Canadian climate can wreck havoc on infrastructure.
I'm sure we are also talking about a lot more tarmac to deal with in the G.T.A. than Karachi.

I disagree with all of them but the Jeep. If you are actually dealing with potholes, you want a sturdy front end, tires with a lot of sidewall and suspension travel for when you cannot miss a pothole. If you are dealing with lots of potholes, Id rather an SUV or a truck rather than a car.

Come on guys, this is just a silly article.  Best cars for pothole streets?  Give me a break.  What's next, best cars for roads with the most right hand turns?  Best cars for steep inclines?

I know you want to attract Google searches by cramming as many car models in each article, but this is just a waste of time.

Yup.  I know that road as it's not far from where I work.  Let me guess - 92 street between 39 Avenue and 41 Avenue.

Lol.  Not when your province is blowing it on other stuff.  Not when your province also gave the oil companies too much discounts on the Royalty.  Oil companies always cry foul even though they are making money hand over fist.

And not when your city is too focused on building and arena for millionaire hockey players with a billionaire owner.  Sure, they say the hockey arena will only cost half a billion.  What they are missing is that it will cost another half a billion later when they realize they haven't allowed for the necessary transportation infrastructure (whether it be light rail train, buses, roads, etc).

I imagine with all the floods in Southern Alberta, the provincial money is going to get tighter.

Shouldn't the owner of the team build the building?  That's what they did here.

That's what I think they should do.  But he wants subsidies and guarantees because Edmonton is a "small market" and it's risky.  Umm, have you seen how many raving mad fans there are?  I can't remember the last time a game wasn't sold out...

Umm. so this is post flood damage right ? I can't imagine that road be allowed to be in that condition pre flood. If so you win, we have nothing that I've seen that bad here in the GTA.
