In the "How could you leave it out" catagory......

Born to be Wild ("Head out on the highway...lookin for advenure...")  by Steppenwolf and 409 by Jan and Dean

Either of those can inspire "lose your license" speeds  ;D

The Ultimate car anthem? Without question, it's "Highway Star" by Deep Purple. The rest are mere pretenders to the throne.

Who would write these songs?  A lot of the "new" music is either versions of old songs, samples of old songs, or disjointed junk.  I'm not a 40+ curmudgeon that's lost the plot: young music aficionados agree. There is some talent out there, no doubt, but you have to dig.
