Yeah, I know what you mean.  I have a Gift Certificate for Exotic Car Tours in Oakville for $150, but most of their packages cost more than that. They are all super cars, don't know what to do with the Gift Certificate, would rather put that money to car maintenance.  But they won't refund it, (Christmas Gift), but it is transferrable.

Yep, me and Railton have the same issue  :P

Put our gift certificates together, and spend 10 minutes a piece driving a Ferrari!

The cars have been neutered, my TTRS is much faster.  :P plus one one the jokers working there goes on the drive with you

Sounds like my wife spent $150 on a useless piece of paper then.  Because I am not spending more money to get something I am not really interested in...

For soft rolling roads or while the wife is present:

M6 Cabrio

For roads that the wife will not be present for:

For when I want to actually go across the beach:

Lighten up Francis.....

I got to admit that after the 5 hr drive to our cottage in York Beach Maine, just parking at the beach with all windows down makes us realize why that drive is worthwile. So soothing to hear the waves come in!

Our Odyssey is a great "turnpike cruiser". The kids get to see the view above bridge railings and all.

Heading back in a couple of weeks  :)

I tried to argue Odyssey over Town & Country, but Pritch has a serious thing for the GC/T&C and refused to budge... apparently the tailgate seats are the best thing ever!

The Ody does the tailgate seat thing too, and gets 9 l/100km on the way to the coast thanks to cylinder deactivation  :)

With no kids in tow, I have to admit a coastal drive in a Mustang 'vert would easily top my Ody. Last spring we held a "Drive one for your school" fundraiser at our kid's school, and as a volunteer / organizer I took quite a few sunny drives in the two Mustang convertibles we had on loan. Our circuit had us driving along the Saint-Lawrence in old Boucherville, so nice view of the water to go with the burbling 3,7 litre V6.

Had to keep one of the 'Stangs at my house overnight for its "safety" ... addictive retro toy!

Here's my 2 cents worth. My vote goes to the Fiat 500c: affordable, cabriolet (most of the benefits of a convertible without any of the negatives), allows you to enjoy the experience and the cruise without a preoccupation with performance, comfortable ride. and it just exudes and imbues cheerfulness.

Points were separated by commas. The 500c is actually supremely comfortable: great ride, lots of room (in front), excellent visibility - all aspects of comfort.

What if youre male....or decide to bring along a passenger and some luggage?? The 500 falls flat on its face on both accounts. The Abarth would be fun at a track day, but this thing is about on par with the Smart car for utility.....

This should take care of your gender identification and luggage hauling issues.

Huh....seems a little small...but youre getting the right idea.
