I'll be very interested to see how the observed fuel economy shakes out.
Wokeism is nothing more than the recognition and opposition of bigotry in all its forms.  Bigots are predictably triggered.

Kind of lost me after "Eco-Boost" AWD at least in the GTA is over-rated considering current climate / snow conditions. I prefer lighter weighted vehicles.

Damn I'm hating Ford's new Eco-Botch engines. Ford should have gone the Sky-Activ route with D.I. engines, more efficient transmissions and weight savings instead.

Poor Ford, no Sky-Activ  :rofl2:  At least Ford brought something unique, like AWD in a midsize sedan.  Not for me, but appeals to some.  Great way to get extra money from customers as well...

Besides fuel economy, I'd be interested how James finds the driver ergonomics. I didn't like it.

Subaru have offered it for years in the Legacy, and it adds to the wet driving grin factor, if not as much as it does in the winter.  Its a peace of mind thing too I guess, at least for my better half who drives ours most of the time.  Fuel economy is slightly worst, but then its fun booting the family wagon around the corners like its on rails.  This comment obviously not appliable to city drivers.

Im still amazed Ford managed to nick the Aston Martin grill when they sold their interest in the company and no one has asked for it back.

Sorry I forgot to mention the Legacy, I have forgotten about that one, ever since the wagon has been gone, it's off my radar...I guess I meant more mainstream cars...

The Mazda 6 is gorgeous.  The Fusion is just okay.  Not quite as successful as they had hoped in riffing the Aston vibe.

The 6 is indeed gorgeous, passed a white one last night on the way home, and that car is hot.  I still dig the Fusion.  Altimas are sprouting everywhere at work and a loaded red one in particular looks really rich.

I've noticed more Altimas around as well and agree that they look pretty good. Also like the 6 design over the Fusion. I wish Mazda would be rewarded with more sales for their design savvy – they always seem to do a nice job.

I like the way Ford is going.  Very innovative.  Love the simplicity of the interior design.  As far as Nissan goes, I recently drove the new loaded Maxima for a few days and quite honestly didn't like the way it handled in turns and such - it could just be the rubbery nature of the CVT that I've experienced.

So the Fusion still shifts like the very first one that came out in 06?  1 to 2 is long and abrupt?

That kind of shifting is awful to a CVT guy like me ;D

Yes Mazda should get rewarded more for what they do, locally here the dealer is superb, I think Wing would agree with me on that.  Is their national dealer network good in general?  So they dont have Camry numbers but should it matter really?

I have had very professional service from the sales department, at two different Mazda dealerships.  I have visited the service department to question a few minor issues with the car, like I would see the 2nd row seat shake sometimes.  They checked it over, after 2 trips we determined the wheel were out of an alignment.  After balancing and an alignment issue was resolved.  They are only $10 more expensive than my local mechanic for oil changes, but my local mechanic does extra stuff, like checking all the fluids, inspects brakes, tire pressure & rotation every 2nd time, grease doors, etc.  So I like that attention to detail....For about $60 with tax and disposal fees, (regular oil).

I wish Mazda would have better finance rates during larger sales, like in September or October..

The Fusion interior looks better in pictures than in real life IMO. I sat in one and I thought close-up it looked and felt quite cheap. The build quality in the one I sat in was quite awful.

Strange, I sat in one and I felt it was top notch.
