Put on the winter rims and tires today so here's the TL in Wintermode.I think it turned out alright - the 18s don't look too terrible compared to the stock 19s. Personally, I think this goes to prove the case why you spend a few more bucks and get cheap alloys.

It's a no brainer for me to pay $200-400 more to have nice wheels all year round (vs ugly steelies for 5 months of the year). Those rims look great on the TL

If you can caigh up the bucks for a nice car why bolt a set of ugly steelies on for 5 months. Well done Vman.

Funny enough, my winter set of wheels/tires is 1" larger diameter and look nicer than the wheels that come on my winter cars from the factory

With cheap alloys around $100 from tirerack putting black steelies on for 4-5 months of the year makes no sense to me.
Quote from: Black Hatch on November 18, 2013, 03:57:15 pmI have winter alloys on the CX-5...But I'm wondering if this was a good choice now.The 17" winters weigh less than 19" and tires are equal width of 225mm.What's the problem?

SearHardBurger should pick this up.
No panic. Just a suggestion.
What are you going to be picking up as a replacement?
