Started the installation of the spoiler. Put some rust proof paint in the holes drilled, tomorrow should be dry and will finish putting the spoiler:

Drove the Highlander in the snow this morning.  Luckily the "summer" tires are also snow-flaked.

Changed the oil in the Tundra.  Finally figured out a way to get that damned skid plate back into place with little effort.

Put on some rear mudguards. Unfortunately I cannot reach the one of the screws easily in order to put the front ones on. I need a fairly long right angled screwdriver. Haven't been able to find one at local hardware stores.

Washed the Firebird

Moved the Spitfire inside and buffed the paint on the trunk lid and rear deck area. Had to take the luggage rack off, so I polished that while I was at it and then put it back on. Also dumped a bunch of fresh gas in it, which made a big difference in the way it's running.

Also drove the Sonoma for the first time this year...Drone from the broken exhaust flange is almost unbearable so I didn't drive far. Got it loaded up with parts ready to go to the shop. Exhaust flange will be fixed along with a new close ratio steering box, steering shaft and an alignment.

Not really related to my current car, but I gave away my 86 Toyota MR-2 service manual to a neighbour that just got an MR-2.

As I was driving by, I saw the the owner in his garage.  I went home, grabbed the manual, drove back, and introduced myself.  It turns out the MR-2 is his girlfriend's.  She was so happy to get the manual (she had been looking for a while).  He has a modded WRX (not sure if it's an STI) that makes 460whp and 500+ lb-ft of torque!

He works at a tuning shop in the east end and can get Amsoil and Motul oil at good prices.

^Nice, things like that are why I love the car community.

Yesterday morning I droppped the Sonoma off for some work. Moments later the power window motor on the Firebird gave up the ghost for the second time (I replaced it myself back in 07). So tonight when I pickup the truck I going to leave the Firebird...Feels wrong, but I don't have the time to do the job myself, at least not for a few weeks, and I cannot live with a non-functional driver's window for very long.

mind passing on the contact? I am looking for a good tuning shop to bounce some ideas off of...
