Yes, I like them too, and if I were in the market for an EV, it would likely be at the top of my list.

I'm not sure I've seen a black one in person, but from your pic, it's the best colour for it.

I end up putting back summer shoes (still have few kms left on them) + new lug nuts, until l find stock locally of P0 As+3 in my size, tire shop close to work told me 3 wholesale warehouses have none available, same no stock in neither nearby CTC  ... May I order them online from whoever also have an option to install them by local shop (Blackcircles?)

Disk brake looks fresh after 6months & 13,000 km, mostly stop & go traffic (almost 2 hours a day!)

I'll give her a bath tomorrow.

Those look like PowerStop rotors....I am a fan. The drilled and slotted stuff has no real advantage, but it does look good, more importantly though my experience with the rotors is the same as yours; they really hold up well and don't seem to corrode. I've got about a year and 16000kms on the set on my DTS and they still look brand new.
Have a set for the green Firebird I am hoping to install tomorrow.

Tempted fate and bought brand new tires for the Elantra. Nothing decent already on rims on Kijiji/FB unfortunately in the 4x4.5" bolt pattern.

Yes they are PowerStop, I listened you  ;)

Are they 13 or 14"? Are they become a "rare" supply as new tires?

15" - still easy to find.

lexus had brake bleed and pads changed out, engine air filter replaced.   along with tire switch over.  95k now.

summer/all season tires are right on the cusp of almost needing new set so i'll be looking for new tires in the fall.

anyway, rear pads on lexus was pain in the asss.  electronic parking brake needs to be in "service mode" or be taken apart then use torx to wind it to push brake pistons in.  took a while to figure that out.
anti noise clips were super super annoying too.

fronts were super easy. would have been much easier without so many clips though...  was surprised to fine front calipers are 2 piston variety.

pads are all bedded in now.  bosch pads. nice.

Driving thrills makes my wallet lighter.. and therefore makes me faster because i'm shedding weight... :D

Without use of special equipment or complicated procedures of getting into a service mode, the DIY way of dealing with the Toyota EPB is to disconnects its cable and feed 9 to 12V to its motor, it will make the piston go in or out depending on polarity. There are yutube vids showing this method.

A lot of other manufactures are like this too, and then the 3 domestics usually have a service mode you can access from the dash

I did 4-corner brakes on the green Firebird today, one seized pin that wasted a bunch of time, but otherwise uneventful. As mentioned, I went with PowerStops again.

While I had all the equipment out I rotated the wheels on the Escalade too. Probably a last rotation for these tires, I'd say they're at around 35-40% tread wear. Conti Terrain Contacts, been really happy with them, will likely replace with the same.

Checked on my car this AM - rust is fixed, just ready for paint and I would think I might even have hit back by Wednesday.  Good as new!  12 more years of life given to it.  Maybe I should buy some fluid-film...this time.  Or sell it and lose my shirt getting something else...but what...what else is there that's as cool as a Fusion Sport that's 13 yrs old (and paid for)  .........exactly.  Not much.

So I will remain  :(  until I die...

At least I still have the Sonic...it's probably almost my favorite car to drive because it's all so manual.  Also manual.  Yes.  If it had AC it'd be damn near perfect.

did oil change on the slk.

looking at my record, i did oil change 2 years, and 3000km ago.  no wonder the thing kept saying i need to change oil.
i haven't driven it a lot last year due to taking up motorcycling, but will drive it more this year for sho...

i'll probably do brake fluid/pad/coolant at some point this year as well.

Love that Chevy Volt, great car for a commute.

FYI that Open Pilot autonomy system is compatible with some trim levels, for those who want the car to drive itself on stop and go traffic ...

Picked up and paid for the rust repairs on the Fusion.  $1120 - rockers fixed, they made them stronger than factory so yay! (they just built some rather than order cheap replacements - and it's hidden behind the skirts so if it's not 100% Ford pretty, I do not care).  Even repainted the driver side 1/4 - well part of it, and took care of some of the rust that was creeping up on the lower section behind the back door.   Just need to swap the summer tires on...for the first time in a long time.  I can't remember if I did last summer, and if not...first time in 4 yrs.

Sigh, I still like the damn thing.  It's fast (enough) and it's not ugly. With the summer wheels anyway.

Looks great BW.  Screaming deal for $1120.  Like your living back in 2010 in that part of Manitoba.
