Is Carfax the only option for History and liens? $70 is not cheap

Lien check is extra, but if you had a buddy with a few dealerships who had an unlimited carfax account you could PM...  ;)

You certainly could fly a GM, Cadillac and Pontiac flags!

I was thinking a Trans-Am flag would look pretty cool.

Yeah, that's basically it, not looking to draw attention to myself. If the flag pole wasn't there I wouldn't have one, but it is, and it's a nice sturdy one so I figured I'd keep it. I do kinda dig the splash of color. Plus, if I am totally honest, I am glad to be in the USA and able to access everything the country has to offer.

I used to have a big-ass Cadillac flag.   Can't remember if I gave it away or where it went to.

DTS had a little fit today....Cruising down the highway, moved left and sped up to pass some trucks, accelerated up to about 85mph and then felt something and lost all acceleration. Engine light started flashing and the car was struggling to maintain speed. Obviously an aggressive misfire on multiple cylinders. Fortunately I was only a couple exits away from home so I was able to limp it to the driveway. Old girl would barely idle. Open Injector Circuit codes on 4 of the cylinders, so I started checking fuses and found that the fuse for one bank of injectors had popped. Traced the wiring and found that a piece of the harness had it's sheathing deteriorate and a wire had rubbed through and was shorting out on a bracket. Fixed up the wire, put some new conduit sheathing on it, replaced the fuse and she's back in action. Made for a sketchy drive home though. Least it was a quick and free fix.

Nice diagnosing!  Easy fix is always a plus.

+1 for a V8. Lost a bank but it still got you home.

Thanks guys  ;D One of the nice things about having the junky fleet that I do, if a car breaks, it's not really a source of stress (provided you get home)....Just drive something else until you figure out the problem and fix it.

Yup, I've been running on that method for years.

It's a solid plan and what I am doing as well.

LR4 got and oil and filter change. It is so nice to be able to topside this thing when things are mucky out. . Filter cartridge is at the top of the engine and the oil siphon is right there as well. About 20 leisurely minutes with no mess or fuss.

Elantra hit 333,333 kms the other day so I treated it to an oil change. The underside still super clean considering all the kms.

Yeah, that's shockingly clean underneath. An elantra with those kms in Ontario would be swiss cheese.

Impressive mileage! Did you buy it new and how often do you change oil in it?

Installed a MioFive 4k dashcam today.  I've been wanting a dashc for a while, but never bothered.  Recently a buddy got burned, writing off his truck and the other party lying about what happened, so my buddy was saddled with 50% fault.  A dashcam would have gone a long way in his case.

So time for me to put one in.

Does this record both directions? Is there such a thing as a dashcam that doubles as a back up camera? My youngest prefers the Ridgeline which has no backup camera. It's also the longest and has the worst turning radius so do the math lol. I was thinking maybe an integrated rear view mirror?
