Very nice. There is a 10AE Miata that is at my neighbours house often. Love that car.

Put in a new air filter as the old one was pretty dirty.

Drove it to North Carolina for some better weather and delaying the tire switch over. The trees are still in full colours all the way here making the drive beautiful. Add in light traffic most of the way, it an easy drive. F/E was 5.7 L/100.

Nice shot. Who did you make stand and shoot photos or was this an event?

The brother of the guy in the BMW took some photos, he was just using his phone.   It was just a lapping day put on by the club.

. I did use one of those DIY windshield chip repair kits to take care of a good chip I took on the highway earlier in the week in the DTS. Seemed to have done a good job, time will tell I guess.

Never used one.

How's the install?

Pretty simple, I used the Permatex one, watched a youtube video which had some detailed instructions. Basically, there's a sticky seal that goes on the windshield with a syringe fitting....you pour in some resin, then suck the air out with the syringe, let it sit like that for 10 minutes, then push air in with the syringe to pressure it a bit, wait 20 minutes. Pull it all off, it'll be all wet resin still, put this little 'curing plate' (clear sticker) over it and leave it a few hours in the sun. Come back and clear it all off with a razor blade. I was pessimistic, but it delivered really good results. Really have to study the spot to tell at this point.

Swapped the winters onto the Ridgeline due to the heavy snow. In the process greased the caliper pins in the hope of solving a strange squeak I was getting under moderately hard braking. Nothing on light or panic braking. I thought it was the cheapo Monroe quick struts but in the end I put my hands at 3 and 9 on the tire and gave it a shake. Wiggle wiggle wiggle. Shot tie rod end. Tomorrow will be KTM haggling with the local Honda dealer for a discount. I figure if I don't touch the lock nuts I may be able to get away without an alignment.

Love the cornering speed you're able to achieve with the Miata. They just dance around the track.

I was pretty slow, tires were horrible in the wet...and the dry.  Needs shocks.
Still fun to get out on the track and wring it out though

^^ Nice wheels  ;D

No snow in the forecast here, thank God. At some point in November I will be swapping wheels.

Swapped wheels/tires last night.  We're getting a bit of snow this evening.  Figured the temps have gone down enough now there's no harm in running winter tires.

The '08 Vantage Roadster (manual) is my father in law's. Yup, will probably open the door to let the red car in when it arrives and gets sorted.

Got a new set of Bridgestone WS-80 winter sneakers mounted on rims today for the GS-350   Been running Michelin winters on our dailies for as long as I can remember.  Wasn't completely satisfied with the snow traction of my last Ice-3 tires so figured I'd try something different this time around.  I'll wait until the last minute as usual to install them myself.

How old are they?  The new model is the WS-90.
