I borrowed one that attaches to the caliper fitting and you hook up to your compressor hose and it sucks it out.  I must have had the air pressure too high because it really sucked it faster than one could pour it into the master.

Do I do an oil change for the Miata before or after storage? Current oil has about 6k km since May.

I think I would.  Whenever I store the Lexus I changed out the oil before storage.  I am not sure if that is protocol but leaving in dirtier oil for a few months seems mean.

and then drive straight away in the spring trouble free. If you want to be a bit anal then pull the coil or the fuse for the fuel injection and crank the engine to build the oil pressure and not start. Once done add fuse /coil and enjoy the season.

While it’s still in the high teens and beautiful here, it’s hard to think about snow. Managed to get the winter tires/wheels put on Wife’s truck. Also did a ceramic coat. It’s going to see limited use this winter as this unit was never winter driven- its 100% rust free and I’d like it to stay that way!

+1. You can load a few bodies in that hatch and no one will ask any questions if they see it.  :P

Proper truck

Those and their sibling SUVs are still one of the more common vehicles on the road down here in the South....In an area where rust isn't much of a factor they just keeping going. Some are really well maintained and look almost new, others are banged up and sunburnt, but they're still rolling.

The world is now your oyster for rust free anything and everything! Trucks like this rust free are like hens teeth in Canada, I could only imagine how many roam the rust free south. This ones from Oregon, another spot with some clean rides.

Winter tire and wheel change on the 335 on a beautiful sunny fall day…

Beautiful weather down here, low 80's and sunny all weekend  ;D....Spent most of it cleaning gutters and trimming trees though. I did use one of those DIY windshield chip repair kits to take care of a good chip I took on the highway earlier in the week in the DTS. Seemed to have done a good job, time will tell I guess.

Interested too, both the windshields in the RX and the Crosstrek are expensive to replace

Changed the tires on the Crosstrek last night, just in time as the first snow hit as predicted. Went to work a half hour early, avoided the parking lot the expressway turns into with the first snow
