The LFA is right up there for me for dream cars, as well as the NSX. Having realized that either of those I need Dubai sheik money to own, I'm going to make a 911 happen for my 50th birthday.
Lighten up Francis.....

"Back in the day" when the import scene was huge, there were attractive, scantily clad women who modeled with cars, went in beauty contests or just hung out in the scene.

They were known as "Race Queens" or "Import Queens".

So that's how she got the nickname. IQ on the forum for short. She even has a personalized plate on her IS with abbreviated "ImportQueen"
How fast is my 911?  Supras sh*t on on me all the time...in reverse..with blown turbos  :( ...

New fuel pump and filter/regulator installed in the BMW. Fuel tank full. Fuel level indicator accurate....
The moment of truth will be tonight when I park it in the garage but preliminary signs are positive - no more gas smell walking around the car.

Nice work.

My 128 had a fuel leak too - dealer basically threw parts at it. Fuel pump seal, then fuel transfer pump (fuel pump?) were replaced under warranty.

Yeah, known issue in these. Sooner or later they will both go. I'm at 200K so I replaced both sides, including locking rings and of course gaskets (they come with the parts), to be done and forget about it.

Radiator suddenly got leaky on the Elantra. New part is supposed to be here tomorrow so pulled the old one out. Tempted fate and ordered it new front brakes too.

I think I saw the engine light come on on my Lexus.  Weird, never seen an engine light on a Toyota before, it' only stayed on for few minutes then disappeared.   Maybe it was just a dream.

The other day when I was at the mechanic with the BMW, he had a wrecker in front of the shop. I snatched a heat shield which I've been meaning to replace from day one but never got around to do it (couldn't locate the P/N for it). This one was in a very good shape including the nuts (barely any rust on them) so I took it off the car.
Kind of a pain to remove the rusted nuts on the old one on my car, with very limited access, but it got done few scratches later.
One more thing crossed off the to-do list unexpectedly.

New front axles are in S8. He says they were a bit more difficult to put in than the ones he did in our A5. Said he also needed a 19mm Allen which he didn't have. Had to borrow one.

$300 all in for labor and axles were $180 for the pair.

Cheap fix.
