Rolled over 300,000  kms in the  truck while hauling Fiona debris.
Yes it reads 166,500 ,instrument cluster was replaced by recall at 133,500.

Try and catch up. ;D

What did it have when you got it ? I 've put about 60 k on it from when I had first  bought it.
I'll certainly try.

Wisdom gained through experience.  ;D

This pic is awesome. I think this guy is living in my left front strut. I get a hoot/squeak as the strut is unloading. Do I return my replacement strut for a 3rd Monroe unit? I am going to drive it over the weekend to see if it quiets down before dealing with it next week. It sounds like a dry heim bearing on a KTM PDS system ... Exactly.

I'm already having second thoughts about the brake job. I last did them in 2015 and even then I remember it being a PITA. I think with another seven years of rust it's going to be an absolute nightmare.

I wouldn't be surprised if it costs a grand to have them done at a shop though. Calipers may very well be fooked at this point too.  :P

It drives fine and there's still some pad left, so I suppose I could just leave it be and take the hit on resale when I go to sell it in the spring.

Are the brakes pulsing or something? I spent a long time with a large hammer changing ugly rotors on my B2000 pickup because they braked fine but looked ugly (I think they were original at 350,000) only to find the shiny new discs braked pretty much the same

Yup, that's my work truck, and I lost track of how long that CEL has been on.  Service guys just roll their eyes when I come in for service.  ;D

My Frontier is barely broken in at a little over 92K.

Braking is fine in the dry, but I’ve had a few concerning moments in the wet and slush last winter. Pedal feels fine, but it can take forever to stop in the wet. My best guess is that the rotors are so pitted that moisture gets in between the pad and rotor and takes a while to boil off?

Rotors look bad enough on the front side, but on the backs there are actually rusted chunks flaking off in the swept area.

My GTI did that on the OE and the replacement brakes. I just thought it was a special feature.  ;D

I doubt I've put 20k on  it, it stays parked for weeks at a time quite often.  Used as a truck.
It needs front brakes...badly

Cleaned up the Vibe. Sent notes around to friends to see if anyone wants it, if not it's off to Marketplace, etc

It's done me well. The TAC Shinee wax Rrocket recommended gave it a nice gloss:

220,000. Think I bought it with 130,000 or so about ten years ago

Should be good for a while yet. A/C still works even!

That vibe looks amazing. Can’t count how many I see (Matrix and Vibe) at auction with 299,999 km. For all that don’t know, Toyota had a problem with odometers getting stuck at this number, so it’s a wild guess how many Km they actually have.

That looks fantastic! Shouldn't have any problem selling that, and for good $ I bet. Still a good following for these.

The Vibe looks great in that colour.  It's held up very well.
