Ugh, we had a new estimator start at work three weeks ago - a very nice lady in her 40's. Anyway, shortly before starting work for us, she wrote off her previous car, a 2013 Hyundai Accent, and literally the day before coming to work, she picked up a used 2016 Hyundai Tucson.
Anyways, yeah, she's been having problems with it. In the first week she had it, it went into limp mode, she took it back to the dealership, and they diagnosed it as a faulty knock sensor. They replaced the sensor, and gave it back to her. Anyway, this morning, it went back into limp mode on her drive into work. She was only a few kms from work, so she continued on her way, albeit it at reduced speed. I'm not sure if hers has the 2.4 Theta, or the 2.0 Nu, but I believe Hyundai has had massive problems with both engines. She's owned it for three weeks.
I'm advising her to return it to the dealership and try to get all her money back, if she can, then go shopping for a 2015/2016 CRV, or a Rav4, or a CX-5.
