Did some auto-x with the MX-5. Some surprising nice vehicles came out including this Aston Martin.

Oh hello. Manual or auto?

he Aston Martin I assume? ... I have to admit I don't remember. The guy driving was not the owner. He borrowed it from a friend for the day! Heck of a friend! :o

It did sound fantastic going around the course.

Funny enough, I have let my buddy who's a championship winner track mine before... and lent it to DriverJeff when his Z3M was in for service.

Rear brakes done and winters installed.  Earliest ever for the winters but figured may as well put them on while I had all wheels off for brake maintenance.  Just a date with Rust Check, then a good detail and ready for winter, for this one anyway.  I'll do the Frontier maintenance later, although it's going in for RC spray soon as well.

Had to stop at the Lexus dealer this afternoon to get my brake parts and they had three vehicles in the showroom, where normally they would have six, or seven.  Lot was almost bare as well.  Mentioned that to the parts guy and he said it's the worst scenario he's ever seen, and he's been around for a while.  The sister Toyota dealership already has 16 pre-orders for new Tundras but unable to get an ETA yet.

Sounds about right. I have no VIN or date, just a confirmed allocation for the IS500 Launch Edition.

The drivers side headlight went out on the Golf.  I needed to remove 6 torx screws and bend back the wheel liner to swap it out.

VW of all brands should make that way easier.

Winter tires...it's supposed to be 30° today...last thing on my mind right now.  Mid-teens through next week - mid Oct...  O0

I stopped at the body shop doing the cab corners on the truck...well, they were a lot worse than they appeared from the outside.  He showed me the parts they cut out and damn, one corner was rusted right through, only the "paint and rust" holding it together.  Rockers weren't far behind.  Might have to see if I can find a Rust Check place in MB - or Krown if nothing else.  Maybe I should get my own franchise................................ :rofl2:

Save your money. We use thicker stuff than Krown that lasts longer and doesn't drip, specially made for this climate. Come see me.  ;)

If I could afford the extra hours driving I would, but I can't.

Drop it off at my house and take the Vantage home, it needs some miles. I’ll bring the truck back to your place and visit Theron. ;-)

That sounds like an offer that will be hard to say no to. Plus think of all the extra advertising the truck will be doing as it is being driven all over who knows where.  ;D

Is that an open offer to anyone here?    :stick: ;D

I'll be there in...4-5 days??  ;D  Could take a while before I come back though.

What do you use?  Is it something available here too (MB) or is it "yours" and in ON only?

I'm picturing a rash of Black Creek Coffee google reviews stating the owner was doing burnouts and generally driving like an ass.

I appreciate the offer thanks, but I'm good. I'm very protective of my 'little mule'.  :rofl2:

Maybe next time.
