Thanks for the hints about Monkey wrench. I wasn't aware KYB were made in Japan. Monroe was out of my wish list.

KYB is an OEM supplier to most major OEMS.
How fast is my 911?  Supras sh*t on on me all the time...in reverse..with blown turbos  :( ...

Getting old and want a smoother ride. :-\

Then you want Hercules Tires for that smooth, no bump ride!   ;D

I chose KYB as they are Japanese made and didn't here good things about Monroe.

Isn't Monroe the equivalent of Champion to spark plugs? Pure shi#? I can't recall now if I've ever gotten Monroe on anything...I'm thinking I did on a Taurus and they were garbage, but factually can't say for sure.  So maybe I just read about it on some forum somewhere.  I do know I once bought Champion plugs for a V8 Grand Cherokee, and it ran worse after that (I didn't install them - was done at a shop).  Had them replaced with NGK's and huh, damn.  New truck... :P You'll never catch me putting anything made by either in anything I own again.

Great car day.

Started the day like this:

Ended the day finally handing over my prized C4 powerwheels to Firm Jr....Needs a little cosmetic TLC, but he didn't care, had to pry him out of this thing at the end of the day.

Raising the kid right!
If driving an Alfa does not restore vitality to your soul, then just pass the hospital and park at the morgue to save everyone time.

Now drives a Jaaaaaaag...and thus will not pay for anything during an outing...but it is OK, because....I drive a Jaaaaaag.

Helped the girls wash the black cars while I Karcher'd the Rubicon in the street. Somehow, it had mud up to the roof. Somehow.  :shuffle:

Cool stuff...although his shop truck is also a RAM right? Or am I imagining things?

I think so, but an older one.

Haha, yeah, that big Ram 2500 was last week's presser - came in handy. My CT truck is an older (2014) 1500 and it's all stickered up with CT logos.

The Morgan was a really sweet barn find, at a real functional sheep farm, that my brother and I bought and dragged home. It's been sitting for 20+ years, so mechanically it needs a lot of attention, but the body and interior is in really good shape. Will get an S&S soon.

The PowerWheels Vette I've posted about before, it was mine that was stored when I out grew it and I finally got it up and running for Firm Jr. It's a 6V and I had originally bumped it to 12V for more power, but it was too fast for a toddler, so we're running a 6V now. The kid absolutely loves it, and every morning since we gave it to him all he's wanted to do is go outside and play with it....driving it, looking at it, cleaning it, etc. Run time right now is about an hour, which is frustrating for everyone, so I need to get a second battery for swap outs.

Nice! That's at least two on the forum now, not bad for something that seems as rare as hens teeth in Canada

My cousin has one back in England, he taught his daughter to drive in it, which must have been terrifying in the hilly area they live in
