Just over 12k per year, low mileage.

By the way BW, you need gas and air.  :P
Quality is never an accident; it is always the result of high intention, sincere effort, intelligent direction, and skillful execution; it represents the wise choice of many alternatives.

Yup...got the right rear valve stem replaced and for some reason the light wouldn't go off.  Grrr...get home.  Left front is now low, too.  Dammit...so probably got a slow leak there too.  Was always the right rear...so filled 'em all up to 40 psi and now I guess we see if it's low every 10-14 days too... :P

And filled up 2 minutes after taking that...117 litres...sigh.  Can't convince the wife to take the little car to work though.  Not bad avg l/100 though considering we were driving into 7000lbs of wind yesterday, which of course was only a 2000 lb push on the way back.  That's 2 trips to Wpg, one to Winkler, and a week and a bit (Jan 29th last fill) of her 4 km jaunt to work and back...not great, but it ain't a Tundra.  ;D

I drove the Lexus yesterday and realized it's the first time I've driven it since way before Xmas.  Felt good though and still drives like a new car.  Pretty well the polar opposite in character to the Frontier.   ;D

Ya no :censor:, that’s good economy for that type of driving.

That's an anomaly...normally it'll avg between 16-17 but a few highway trips to the city brings the shown avg down.  I'm sure if I calculated it based on liters/100 by hand, it won't be anywhere near as pretty.  Oh!  I have my ph with a pic...I can figure it out...

click click click...this / that * X clickety click... :P....yup, more like 16.56 l/100 (117.51/709.6km), guess that tailwind did bring it down enough to lower the number.  Looked good!  ;D

Still, 16's in winter?  Not so bad, I guess.

Your average is right up there with my Tundra's average now that I'm not putting stupid short trips on it.  And living in Emerson, you do mostly highway with yours, right?  Funny, you keep on making fun of the Tundra as being a gas hog, but your first generation EcoBoost is just as bad!

Usually it's the 4km to work and 4 back, remote start, run it for 5 minutes and comes home.  I'm sure if it was a lot of city driving it'd probably be worse overall.  Maybe...hard to know.  It's pretty good at 80 kmh though.  ;D  Gets around 10 or just under at 80 kmh.

And you're right...this thing aint nothing to write home about.  My first E/B had 3.73's and it was better on gas than this one (have 3.55's in this one, the '11 got 8l/100 at 80 kmh).  It's shi# on gas.  I poo on the Tundra 'cause friend of a friend has one and according to him it gets about 6 mpg pulling a 28ish foot trailer...I get 10! Ha!  LOL...
Unless of course it's windy, which if I'm going somewhere it always is, and it's never a tailwind...and it only goes to 40l/100 on the dash...and I never particularly liked the way they look...and well...because  :stick:  Same way/reason AB shi#s on my truck...and Fob would too...or does...it's OK.  So long as it's not a Chevy you're good!  ;)  ;D  We've got AB to crap on for that!

And I hate that your truck will be worth 3X what mine is even if it had 3X the km on it...what's not to hate!?  ;D

Eh, I didn't realize your 16L/100km is with 4km trips on it.  Alright, it's better than mine.  Mine would be sitting at 20-23L/100kms with those kinds of trips.  And the best mileage I can see on mine is about 11-12L/100kms at 80km/h (like taking Hwy 204 down to Selkirk) compared to your 10L/100kms.

Took Miss Peanut for a toodle around town for 30 minutes, just to top up the battery.  I really miss driving my car to work every day.  Right now, I only drive her once a week, if that.

Started my truck today for the first time in 8 days. It’s been sitting outside because we’ve been using half the garage for other projects and it doesn’t get used much lately. Not surprising, the battery was almost dead from sitting in this deep freeze. Hooked up the Noco booster pack and away she went.

Yeah, the cold and the sitting is the reason I try to get mine going on a regular basis.  I mean, we're not in your deep freeze, but still... Luckily, the car is in the sun for a good part of the day now, and is not frozen solid.  I don't know if that makes a difference, but I feel good about it.   :rofl2:

I don't think the car cares - until you try to start it, then it cares.

DTS sat out for 2.5 weeks, I started it today to run some errands, started right up no issue....I was half expecting some sorta BS. Took it for a good 45 run to get everything up to operating temp.

I usually take mine for a grocery run to Kemptville on Sundays to get the fluids moving and charge up the battery - gets a nice combo of highway and b-road driving.
