If driving an Alfa does not restore vitality to your soul, then just pass the hospital and park at the morgue to save everyone time.

Now drives a Jaaaaaaag...and thus will not pay for anything during an outing...but it is OK, because....I drive a Jaaaaaag.

Wow...pretty gangster. What's the value of one of these approximately?
I love it when a plan comes together.

That would look downright menacing with the grille and window trim blacked out.

Retail? They are all over the place. It is crazy.

Wholesale? A lot lower.

That would be one of the first mods.

Sweet looking rig

Looks like those were somewhere around a hundred grand new:

One of the nearby neighbours, who is a car collector / hoarder, recently added this to his fleet, in white though.

Does that "R" (on steering wheel) mean 5.0l supercharged engine?

Fair play, I'd drive that. After becoming very financially stable.  :rofl2:

No deal. Next one.  :'(

They want $45k for it. Overpaying to get the customer into a new vehicle.

I would have comitted if it was in the 20s.

with these things, there is quite a spread in wholesale values. Rare car does not help that at all.

This XJ R-L is the only time on this forum where the word "Boss!" is truly applicable.

Sucks it didn't work out.

On another note, you were really expecting $10k+ on trade-in (wholesale) for a first-gen IS? Regardless of condition?

I've seen the manual tranny ones go for that....

We've been offered what I consider silly money for our manual tranny IS300 with 400k on it...
