Lovely car but with summer ending ease of selling will fade. Seems like a great price to me.

i've realized i'm not very patient! As much as i've sold enough cars private, and thousands retail through my job, i just don't like to be bothered... might just wholesale the jag.

any of you guys want it, might be last call (21k as is) https://www.autotrader.ca/a/jaguar/xkr/dundas/ontario/19_11583365_?showcpo=ShowCpo&ncse=no&orup=1_5_5&pc=L9H%203V9&sprx=100

that sucks about the injury dent... happened enough time on my mtn bikes, but there i expect it! heres to fast healing.

What a stunning car....and can't believe the price, its incredible for the price of a decently equipped vasectom...sorry, Corolla, you can own a car like this.
Lighten up Francis.....

now the dilemma. have an interested retail party of course when i got an aggressive wholesale bid. bid expires tomorrow, the retail guy is giving me a grand more, but wants an inspection which isn't until monday...

hearing a whistle that doesn't sound like a normal supercharger noise, but isn't overly worrisome to any tech i mention it to... tires pass on tread depth, but are older... goofy TPMS seems to getting tired and randomly decides i have no air in my tires... man... i'm leaning toward wholesale.

and yeah, i don't try to get too much for cars when i sell them... just a quick flip once i make the decision. i think it's quite fair. i didn't buy it to make money, just didn't want to lose much if i could help it. oh, and oliver, just don't need it. and the pacer and morgan both need work. i don't have the time to be working on multiple cars at the same time, nor do i have the space. so i can ditch this one, then focus on the others.
i used to be addicted to soap, but i'm clean now

debugged the front of the Enclave today after coming home from a 4200 km road trip.  Actually the bugs weren't too bad.  Guessing no night driving helped in that regard.  My night vision isn't as good as it used to be.

Actually the whole vehicle stayed pretty clean, except for some road tar.

New transmission for the Sonata.  Replaced under warranty at just over 65k km and three and half years old.  I'll chalk it up to an anomaly and I still have faith in Hyundai, but we'll see what happens in a couple of years, post-warranty.

TooScoops, sad to see you letting go of the XKR, I saw that one listed a week or so ago and wondered if it was yours. Tough sell for some reason...There isn't a huge following for them, though I think they're highly underrated cars. When I bought mine last summer it sat on the market at $23K for like two months, seller was getting frustrated and I was able to get it for <$20K...And that was the facelifted version with the 5.0L. I now see that there are 3 2010/11's listed at $37-42 with local dealers (Budds, Pfaff), so I expect they'll be sitting around for ages...Hard to beat the horsepower to $ ratio at these prices though.

I did some work on the fleet recently....detailed the escalade interior, treated the leather, changed the oil, cleaned the glass and greased all the grease points on the front end (yes, it has plenty...weird).

I also got the old Camaro out, headliner was sagging so I dropped the board out and recovered it, will re-install next week.

Bought a new one... show n shine will happen after I clean it up, its pretty messy inside & out, but it passed the PPI & Ontario safety check with flying colours.

Here's a pic tho... probably too easy to guess after this hint, lol!!

As cool as the SLK is, I'd rather have that.  Those Galants were great cars.
I'd rather be car-poor than house-poor...

The only thing to love about historic plates is the $18 renewal...I hate the way they look, but it's worth it for the $100/yr savings.

I'm not thrilled about the silly limitations, but I see all kinds of people driving out there with them all over the place, so I'm guessing the cops aren't really cracking down on it.

I don't recall the specifics, but I do remember that if you follow the rules to the letter it's pretty restricting....Basically no 'regular' use, only for shows/events and test drives (to sell or for repairs). I've read a handful of stories over the years of it being enforced, but never met anyone who's actually had an issue. I've had them on my T/A for years, and I use that car essentially as a daily driver in the summer (exception being commutes to work, though I do drive it to work a few times a year) and I've never had an issue.

Got my recovered headliner back into the Camaro without breaking anything  :)

And did 3 oil changes to get some of the fleet caught up on the annual change.
