Sold the Nissan on Friday. I broke my left shoulder bone in three places so couldn't drive it anymore. For at least 6 weeks.

Put about 350km on the Yukon going back and forth from London, ON. Thing did 9.6L/100km round trip and kept us superbly comfortable while doing it.

Awesome.  That's kind of its mission as a vehicle, eh?  Comfortable long distance cruising.  It's an all-weather GT car for families!

Ouch, was there a motorcycle involved?

Will have to get some tips on selling a vehicle, you are pretty good at it!

yes - bike. My front wheel locked completely (still not sure why but was in construction zone on highway) and I pin wheeled off at 30km/h or so. In Crowsness.

Ouch! Best of luck with getting back into shape! The upside is that you were only at 30 km/h. Pedal or motorbike?

Yes, best of luck with the mending. It could have been much worse. You're young and will heal.
Look what that Simon Cowell guy did the other day - broke his back in multiple places. That's gonn'a take a 60 year old guy a long time (if ever) to do the Salsa again!

Join the club! No metal in mine but my shoulder is permanently down on one side as the collarbone knitted overlapped

Oil on the road in a construction zone will lock the wheel when you brake. I bounced off a car bumper because of that once

Holy crap!

That was just an ebike. Guess wearing my mesh motorcycle jacket when I e-bike or e-board is not overkill after all

I'm shocked there aren't more people with broken backs in this world.

Titanium does not set off metal detectors.  I know this because I have some in my body too, and have not had any issues at airports.   ;D

Glad you're okay.  The world needs you, Mr. Dent.

It is my understanding that Titanium can indeed set off newer detectors.  If you have a small plate?  Probably not.

A full hip?  Yes it can.

It would also matter if it was pure vs alloy.
