^High pressure power steering hose.
$70 from NAPA, will be in tomorrow morning.

Doesn't look horrible to change, we will see.

Wrong part from NAPA, only half the hose and not  even the right half.
Ordered from Rockauto, should be here later this week.

Washed the Lexus...damn tree sap and pine needles everywhere. Ugh.

Detailed the crap out of the already fairly clean Alfa. Even cleaned the reachable underside and polished the muffler etc. She gets her BAT photoshoot this evening, want her to look her best. So nervous for the car, I feel as though the comments section will tear me a new one because the car is not a museum piece...not in bad shape at all, show worthy, but it was driven, not just parked in a bubble.
If driving an Alfa does not restore vitality to your soul, then just pass the hospital and park at the morgue to save everyone time.

Now drives a Jaaaaaaag...and thus will not pay for anything during an outing...but it is OK, because....I drive a Jaaaaaag.

, but it was driven, not just parked in a bubble.

That's an important distinction to make, IMO, and I'd not hesitate to put that in your ad.

"If you're looking for a museum quality garage queen, this isn't the car. But if you're looking for an extremely high quality driver, this is the car"  or something similar.

 :iagree:

Will be loud and clear in the BAT listing. Plus, Italian cars that were parked, while cosmetically better, always have issues. They are the worst if you let them sit, as they resent that and will let you know of their displeasure by pissing on the rug and refusing to go outside  ;)

Lots of car stuff the last couple days...

Friday used the shop at work to help a co-worker do the front struts on his E90...Yep, the tierod is broken here; we replaced it after lots of cussing to get it off.

Spent most of the day Saturday on the Chartreuse MGB....I'll put a better progress update in the SnS thread later; but here's how it looks now. Biggest job was repairing the rocker panel, the 'beige' color on the lower portion is rocker guard...paint coming next.

Then I gave the Trans Am a quick cleanup and coat of wax:

Today I got some time to knock a couple things off the XKR list; changed the two air filters, which requires removing the front splash liners, washed out the front wheel wells, and re-painted the front calipers in the factory grey. I have the proper 'R' logo decals that'll go on next, but I wanted the paint to dry for a few days first.

The XKR spent most of it's life in Key West...so some interesting debris in the air filter box; couple massive hornets (like the size of my thumb), piece of coral, a LOTS of beach sand...

Lol, you're not wrong....but I did a proper job in the fall before storage, so this was moreso just to freshen it up a bit for the season.

I thought I was weird for winter storing a Sonoma....That's gotta be one of the best preserved SW2's in the country.

Thank you, I was pleasantly surprised by this photographer. He is a real pro, and did the pics for free. Hopefully the BAT listing gets him a few gigs? Who knows.
