That wagon is cool and all....but that house across the street with the round arches everywhere, flat roof triple garage and mid 90's Taurus wagon, with matching round architecture is an awesome throw back. That guy knows what's up.  ;D
Yes my neighbour Eric is awesome!  Too bad his Taurus wasn’t a SHO! We like our wagons on our street.

^^lol...the Taurus is now a house ornament...

But in reality it still drives...and the BMW actually just sits there like an ornament, no?

Much prettier ornament too.

And fack me...everyone in ON must be loaded to the fecking gills...new G70 after 4 yrs "because the car was getting "old"", triple car garages with brick everywhere...the brick alone is worth more than my property I'd bet...BMW's up the wazoo... :P  If I could I'd lease a wagon like that for 4 yrs...
My triple car garage is so full of crap I can’t even park my car in it[emoji1787]

Looks like Caulder Drive or Cavendish Crt. in Oakville. ;) - Nice area. These places typically went for $2M in early 2017. Taxes around $10K/Year.

Two triple car garages yet three cars parked in the driveways. Terrible.

You obviously need more vehicles ;D
Could be three more cars parked in the garage, it all depends on how many cars and bikes you have.  Right Firm?

My dad dropped by to pick up something the other day... he pointed out that between the fiancee and I, we're now up to 4 cars... 5 if you count the weekly press car.  ;D ;D ;D    Little does he know, the 4WD Camry is on its way, making this number 5 and 6, respectively!

I'm making Firm proud.

Sold my other half's A4 while it was still worth something. Was a nice car while we had it, but she'd had it four years to the day and it was time for a change. Oil consumption is rampant on those 2.0 engines, and the lack of a rear-view camera, Apple CarPlay, etc. was getting old.

We bought a 2020 Genesis G70 Elite; Uyuni White on the Caramel Brown real leather. She's always wanted a white car with a brown interior. Frankly, I'm lucky to have a partner that supports my habit of buying old crap... she deserves a white car if she wants a white car.

Debated hard between the 2.0T and 3.3TT, but figured we'll go with the 2.0T for now. The Elite has the 8-inch touchscreen, 15-speaker Lexicon audio, real leather, heated and cooled seats, etc. The Genesis Connected Services also means it has remote start, et al through the app for five years.

Car's technically a "demo", but has 31km on it (31, not 31,000). Arrives tomorrow from Genesis Yorkdale. I'll snap a picture or two

Also, the G70 was the DoubleClutch.ca Car of the Year when it launched...  ;D ;D ;D
Congrats. Can’t wait to see your pics!

Love my Apple CarPlay. My previous car is350 f-sport lacked this option and it always bothered me.

Don't be fooled by facades...besides, don't you flip F150s every year or two? :)

No, he talks about flipping his F150 every year  ;D

Nailed it!   ;D

Would love to...but have you seen the prices of new trucks???  :fall:

drove the merc in the rain for the first time.

washed it right after.

it's the 3rd time i washed the thing, but thought the paint looked a little dull ever since i picked it up.
, so took the dust off my polisher.

tons of spider webbing on the hood, roof and trunk.

meguiars ultimate polish doesn't really take out all the scratches, but it does clean up the paint nicely.  couldn't believe how much oxidation there were...

now its shiny. used to look kind of yellowish, now it's white.  ;D

just need to put on layer of wax tomorrow...

Washed the cars...again. Man the construction and pollen combo makes for dirty cars just sitting in my driveway...

Also fiddled with the Alfa's fuel system a bit, and finally decided that she needs to get her valves adjusted. The sewing machine noise is becoming a bad rattle...oh solid tappets in an old engine are a joy!
If driving an Alfa does not restore vitality to your soul, then just pass the hospital and park at the morgue to save everyone time.

Now drives a Jaaaaaaag...and thus will not pay for anything during an outing...but it is OK, because....I drive a Jaaaaaag.

My slant-six Volare had solid lifters.  I left the adjustments for my mechanic.

Finally got my car washed yesterday.  Looked great.  Then the road dust and pollen started to collect once more.   sigh.

...and that is what I am going to do. Exhaust is easy as they are screw adjustable, just may need to replace the tappets as they tend to wear. The Intake ones do not tend to wear, but are shim adjusted...and those are a royal PAIN to work on...ie lots of labour to adjust them. Fun.
