^^ lol, that’s a lot of wood! Very classy though.
The good part is if you want less wood you can open the GPS and radio (the 2 large panels in the middle) and the wood doors hide away.
How fast is my 911?  Supras sh*t on on me all the time...in reverse..with blown turbos  :( ...

Cleaned and de-contaminated the exterior on the TT and polished it to a shine!  Put in the garage before "The Pollinator" could strike :-)  I thought I heard an Austrian accented voice saying "I'll be back" when I put it away.  Track day on Friday night at Calabogie!  Can't wait.  The surface cleaning and sealing should make it a lot easier to get the rubber off the car afterwards.

Thanks Ted.  So the pacifier used to be a baby.  Fascinating and weird, but in the Dark Ages all's fair in love and war, I guess.

I always find coats of arms interesting.

I wouldn't have any straw near those rims, not on a sun shiny day  ;D

looks great, real nice paint on that car

I got the Alfa's oil leak diagnosed...it was the oil pan! Just tighten up a few bolts, and off to the races! Fantastic, now to get to tuning it to smooth out the fuel delivery...
If driving an Alfa does not restore vitality to your soul, then just pass the hospital and park at the morgue to save everyone time.

Now drives a Jaaaaaaag...and thus will not pay for anything during an outing...but it is OK, because....I drive a Jaaaaaag.

Sold my other half's A4 while it was still worth something. Was a nice car while we had it, but she'd had it four years to the day and it was time for a change. Oil consumption is rampant on those 2.0 engines, and the lack of a rear-view camera, Apple CarPlay, etc. was getting old.

We bought a 2020 Genesis G70 Elite; Uyuni White on the Caramel Brown real leather. She's always wanted a white car with a brown interior. Frankly, I'm lucky to have a partner that supports my habit of buying old crap... she deserves a white car if she wants a white car.

Debated hard between the 2.0T and 3.3TT, but figured we'll go with the 2.0T for now. The Elite has the 8-inch touchscreen, 15-speaker Lexicon audio, real leather, heated and cooled seats, etc. The Genesis Connected Services also means it has remote start, et al through the app for five years.

Car's technically a "demo", but has 31km on it (31, not 31,000). Arrives tomorrow from Genesis Yorkdale. I'll snap a picture or two

Also, the G70 was the DoubleClutch.ca Car of the Year when it launched...  ;D ;D ;D

31kms is a pretty short career as a demo! Was it a static element on the car show circuit?

Nah, it was actually assigned to an employee a day or two before the lockdown, and has remained parked since. We still got a ridiculous price, which was less money out the door than the cheapest V6 Camry.

Not hard enough.    :stick: ;D  :rofl2:

Congrats on new car!

I tried to see what "uyuni" means.  It's the name of a salt flat.  Makes sense!
