Finally got around to switching my Car & Home insurance from Bel Air to the Group plan I have access to through work with the Cooperators. On the just 'non-Hagerty' vehicles (both Caddy's and the Sonoma), plus the house, saved just shy of $1200/year.  Plus, liability increased from $1M to $2M and deductible on autos down from $2K to $500. Pretty pleased with that.

The Golf needed new summer tires.

I found these brand new Pirelli P7 Plus tires on rims for $500 on Kijiji.

Sold my old ones for $300.

$200 for new tires. Sweet!

sweet find, great upgrade

I tried to find a squeak in the interior of the Lexus that is driving me nuts (only because the rest of the inside is very good in terms of NVH). So far...no luck finding it.

Changed the winters out for the summers on the Sonic.  Wow...are they quiet.  Those winter tires, though showing non signs of wearing out after 7 years, are loud as hell.  Almost time to buy new summer tires.  Wish I could find a set of 17" Sonic wheels for $500 with new tires...but that's a dream. I mean that never happens...right?  :P

Summer tires on the Fusion, oil change for the truck.

I put 7000 km on the new winter tires since Nov.  The Sonic saw all of  4180 km since last Oct.  Neither car has put on 30 km in the last month  ;D

Last oil change on the truck was June 2019, 10,900 km on it since then.  10k is OK on synthetic, aint it?

Sounds about right to me. There are so many variables. In direct injected engines I like changing oil more often (Genesis gets fresh synthetic every 6k and a new filter every 12k). Then there is quality of oil itself. I find Quaker State to be very good and it's backed up by independent tests.

I used to use nothing but QS.  Now whatever synthetic is on sale - Castrol most times from Costco 'cause it's cheap.

Should wait until 25,000 km  ;D

Thanks AB, I'll take that tip under consideration.  ;)  You're a great friend.

3rd transmission drain and fill for my wife's car. Fluid is starting to look quite a bit better (more red). I think I will do it one more time and call it good.

Booked online appointment with my Chevy dealer for my Volt

a) oil + filter change (first 2 years max 4 included) even if only 4 163 km on ICE / 18 204 km, balance 14 041 e-km / 77.1% was electric
b) Recall N192273600 (Evap Emission Hose/AC rub contact).
c) to check rear suspension noise, I'm suspecting link kit.

Due to COVID-19, all non-essential / priority, access to any garage mechanic was denied until last Wednesday April 15th.
Since winter tires are mandatory in Québec, next coming weeks are fully booked, so I took first available, May 15th
Gone but not forgotten in chronological order: 2019 Volt, 2013 Volt, 2014 Spark EV, 2012 Volt and many others before...

GMC Acadia, yes it has a dipstick. Each drain and fill is about 3.5L of fluid, while the total capacity including torque converter is apparently 9L.

OK, the dipstick makes it easier to DIY the whole operation instead of paying someone and then not knowing if anything was done, especially in case of a sealed transmission. I wondered why you'd want a few drain/fills but the proportion above is clearly the answer. Thanks for the info.

3 season tires were put back on my Acura and my wife's Cherokee. Changed out the dash trim on the roadster. Never liked the piano black. New trim is brushed aluminum. Looks much better. Pics of the old and new.
