The two bottles of Iron-X I ordered from e-shine arrived today.  I wish I had checked the local CTC first as they had Autoglym Magma in stock for a little more than half of what i paid for the Iron-X.  That's the first time I've ever seen it available locally.  Last year I checked online and website said they had two bottles in stock at one of the stores in the city but had none when i got there, of course.  Never needed this stuff until i got a white car and one more reason to hate white for a car colour imo.  :P

Anyway, now i just need a warm day for some detailing work.  Windy as hell here today.

Got the wife's car detailed between last night and today.  Mounted the summers as well.  Just in time for the snow coming on Friday.  ::)  Took three applications of Iron-X to get rid of the rail dust.  So one wash before applying Iron-X, then the 3 apps I-X, then another wash, then a two step polish/wax.  Did i mention how much I hate white.  :P

Yeah, those OEM wheels are so much better quality than my aftermarket winters.  The OEMs look brand new with the exception of a few scratches, and so much easier to clean.

Thanks!  It hasn't been driven much since we've had the truck though.  Truck is so much better on terrible spring roads.

Has to do with the wheel base (and probably all that extra sidewall).  The Tundra rides so much nicer than the Civic, although the Civic sees all the in-town mileage these days.

Luxury and technology package?

Luxury, doesn't have the tech package such as blind side, lane detection, and head-up display.  Seats are sublime.  8)

Those rail rust/iron spots are pretty nasty, worse than I've seen here. Maybe something to do with the environment vs. southern Ontario?

Definitely a winter thing.  Never had an issue with the roadster and didn't really noticed it on any other vehicle.  Never owned a white vehicle before either.

Looks great KD.

Our MDX was awful for the rail/rust spots after the first winter. It’s been fine since the first cleanup. And ya, white sucks. Between the rail dust, bugs and every other dark imperfection showing, I’ll be avoiding the colour in the future.
Quality is never an accident; it is always the result of high intention, sincere effort, intelligent direction, and skillful execution; it represents the wise choice of many alternatives.

Drove the Z today for the first time in 2020 with a small break in the weather before it snows again.  ::)

You hear every bit of gravel sitting almost on the rear axle.

I forgot it had a cassette player.  :)
