Did you not get the free coffee and cookies?  ;)

Rockauto gets you on shipping and they are horrible when it comes to customer service (through email only and every time you reply you get a new person who is clueless about the issue). I'd suggest to use Paypal for an extra piece of mind.

Re: cabin filters, I tried a few brands and Denso is currently is my favourite. Great quality for a low(er) price.

Final option, for genuine parts there is one dealer in London and one in Scarborough and prices are competitive VS what "retail" dealers like to charge. Just google "genuine lexus parts Canada"
Hope it helps.

Thank you for the suggestions! Will order one each of the Denso and Potauto filters.

Our local dealer (in central New Jersey) provides good service, but isn't fancy at all.

^^^ Didn't know you were so far south  :)  In this case rockauto is an obvious choice. Denso looks like the OEM supplier of Toyota/Lexus for this particular filter, based on what it says on RA website.

I also tossed the Lexus' new summer wheel/tire package on... premature as it may be. Went with the OEM 18-inch LS 430 wheels to replace the 17-inch chrome ones that I hated from day one. Testing some new Bridgestone QuietTracks too, for a review later this season.

Gave her a nice wash after this photo too - I'm aware of just how grimy the poor ol' gal looks. Also, the rotors are toast. Doing a full brake job this week... needs pads and rotors all around.

Got the roadster out today. As the roads around here are dry and salt free. Trying to forget about the doom and gloom in the world.A little therapy so to speak.

I went and picked up the 4 winter tires that were included in the price of the Civic.  4 nearly new Hankook winter IPike RSV's mounted on steelies.  They still look brand new.  I put them in the shed for now.  I'm looking forward to trying them out next winter.

Had the first of four free oil changes done on the new Enclave.  I've had it less than 3 months and at only 3087 km, OLM showed 11%.  Oil had time expired as the vehicle was manufactured Jan 2019.

I sat in the showroom and waited for the oil change to be done and saw a young lady pass through a number of times spraying and wiping down touched surfaces.  They also wiped down touched surfaces of my vehicle before and after servicing.  Sign of the times  >:(

Noticed this yesterday on my wife's car.  It's not leaking air and doesn't affect the ride at all.  Tried giving it a good whack with a hammer via a piece of wood but that didn't do anything.  Wondering if this can be fixed?

Yikes!

I am sure the wheel can be straightened.  I'd be worried that the tire was damaged.

Our dealership is doing the same. A tech is devoted to cleaning all cars before and after service. How much good it will do? Who knows.

Tire seems fine.  I ran it on the highway last evening up to 130km/h and no issues.   :-\

About a year ago I hit a pothole on the highway outside of Montreal.  I cruised home at my usual speed of 120 or so,  and when I got home I saw that there was a good sized bubble in the sidewall.

I guess one way to know would be to remove it from the wheel and see how it fared.

Yeah, that's what i figured.  Just about time to put the summers back on anyway, so I'll take it somewhere after I do the changeover.

Not surprised it happened with the moon-sized craters we have on our roads.  ::)

I'd position the wheel with the bend facing ground and give it a taste of a sledge hammer, through a block of wood. But that is because I'm cheap. Just google "alloy wheel repair" in your area. If it's $100 or less it maybe worth it, if not a new rim would be an option.
