Finally got the 951 put away, safe & sound! Roads were clear & dry, but the tires were like hockey pucks. There was a bit of snow on the driveway into the barn & the summers were interesting to say the least, but slow & steady worked.

glad you made it safe, yeah my IS on its summers did a 180 on my street as I tried turning around...

Thanks buddy!! I got sideways coming outta my street, but I knew it was gonna happen so I was ready for it. Not sure if the guy in the Expedition that I pulled out in front of was tho, lol!!

Japanese plate mounting bracket. I had to drill some new holes (marked with a dot between two other holes). My plate is no longer off center.

Filled up the tank, changed the oil on the Suzuki TU250X and put it away from the winter.  :(

The radiator gave up on the Outlander yesterday.....FACK! I might've jinxed it as I was just thinking the other day if this is something that may go at some point ....

About that same time as my Entourage.  It went last year, but at only 185k

New winter tires today. Switching things up and went with the Falken Eurowinter HS449 (225/45R17-XL-94V) this time.

Ran the previous Bridgestone WS80 for 4 winters and then scrubbed the rest of them off over the summer. Very happy with the tire and will say they made for a very good all-season tire. At the end of their life they were quite greasy in the wet (like any tire would be) but will say the dry, snow, ice traction was still pretty good. I'd guess I had about 2-4mm left on them.

Have only driven 3 kms so far so no real reports but will say things are MUCH quieter now as the WS80s sounded like monster truck tires at the end.

Picture of the new tire tread.

$950 later got the Outlander back with a new radiator and some adjacent fittings.
Whomever gets my car when I get rid of it doesn't need to worry about some major components for the remaining of the car's life or at least another $100K+.... In theory at least.

I drove the Sonata from Fargo, ND to Kansas City, MO, a distance of 600 miles.

I'll be doing spark plugs, all front lighting, oil change, diff change.

To ease into it, I put a new K&N panel filter and a new cabin filter in this morning. BTW, the POTAUTO activated charcoal cabin filters from Amazon are fantastic! Very high quality and reasonably priced. 3rd one I've bought. Highly recommend!

Might go that route for my next one. Put new Michelin hybrid blades on the Lexus, we shall see how they do.

ordered 2 front tires to replace the 12 year old tires. rear's newer, so i'll stick with for now.  hopefully i can burn them off.
ordered oil filter and air filter/cabin airfilter for the SLK.  it takes 8L of 0W40.  turns out i have 4 jugs of Castrol 0W40 on my shelf.   ;D

debating whether to do the spark plugs.  it's 2 plugs for cylinder, so i would have to order 16....

but it's only got 52k..

Oil change and full brake job: pads, rotors, fluid flush. Good for the next 5 years.

Found a reputable Indy around me so saved some $$ vs dealer. More $$ to the Porsche fund :)
I love it when a plan comes together.

Took a gravel road to a trail head so decided to wash off that layer of dirt to only find another below it. Oh well, going to rain again soon anyway.
