We've got mid teens here all week with a bit of rain in the forecast, not too concerned.

And even if it does snow, it's not like you're on strictly summer tires.

swept and rinsed out the garage, washed both cars.  bimmer's been sitting dormant all winter, there was layer of dust...

rinsed with pressure washer.  still looks pretty good.   realized my plate has expired, so i gotta go renew the thing before i drive it for the season.  :(

Driving thrills makes my wallet lighter.. and therefore makes me faster because i'm shedding weight... :D

Forgot a picture of the finished product!
Now just waiting for Bella to get home, the 323i's tires are set & ready to go as soon as she gets home.

If driving an Alfa does not restore vitality to your soul, then just pass the hospital and park at the morgue to save everyone time.

Now drives a Jaaaaaaag...and thus will not pay for anything during an outing...but it is OK, because....I drive a Jaaaaaag.

Got new all season tires for the wife's Acadia, General Grabber HTS60. Old tires could've made it through one more season but one tire had multiple patches and wouldn't hold air near the end of last year.

Noticed the rear brake on the passenger side seems to be dragging, makes that awful moaning sound - can hear it at slow speed.  So, I ordered a set of Max Brakes Premium XDS (because no one gave me any direction!  >:( :'() - slotted and drilled.  I know I don't need that kind of rotor, but it should look cool behind the wheels, no?  And they were cheaper than the XD's which are just drilled.  Probably a mistake for some reason...don't drive fast enough (or in my case stop fast enough - who else gets 200,000 km out of a set of factory rotors and pads??)...guess we'll see.  For $150 all in, can't bitchandmoan.

5% off for all you needers of brakes until April 30th!  Easter2019 coupon code!

X'ing my fingers I made the right choice.  Can't wait to get them and do the install.

If you've got dragging, you probably need more than just pads and rotors. Either some seized sliders (which you could potentially free up when you install your new stuff), bad caliper or a bad flex line. Or even a sticky e-brake (if on the rear).

e-brake?  What's an e-brake?

It only happens when I press the brake pedal, stops as soon as I let go.  Hopefully they send a little packet of lube with the pads, most do.  I even ordered the brake hardware pkg, doesn't say if you need it, doesn't say if it already comes with the pads (like most do) and I didn't want to not have it if I needed it.  Guess we'll see, still waiting for my shipping confirmation.  They took my money, hopefully they send me brakes.

I don't need no stinking e-brake.  It's an automatic.  Used so rarely it's probably like brand new. (other than water and salt and whatever the squirrels might do to it over time)

I would have ordered the caliper sliding pins if I were you. Get in there with some metal bottle brushes and brake clean, make sure the slider passages are surgical before putting some high temp anti seize.
