Rolled over 250,000 kms.

Nice.

You should do a summary of your costs from when you bought it until this point.

I think I will. While I'm curious I'm sure everybody else is also.

But I thought VW's were supposed to self destruct immediately outside of a warranty.

Yeah, curious to hear as well. I’m only at 150k, but coming up on nine years now. Was going to wait to do a ten year update, but maybe I’ll do it early.

Oh, and I took the winter tires off the Yukon today. Was happy to note that even after a full season, they’re at 14/32” tread remaining. LTs FTW!

You can do whenever you want.  I have snow on my driveway.  Put all seasons on last week,

it is fine if you are swapping to all seasons of course, but I am not sure how my UHP summers would do in the snow. I am guessing...they won't. So I wait...

We might still get snow.  But, my all seasons are brand new, and it is a truck, so I'm sure we'll be fine.

Winter and Spring both seem to come earlier in the West.

Took it to the dealer for summer tire swap plus front and rear brake service. They found the RF caliper was binding and the outside pad was minimal plus scored rotor, so I opted for a replacement caliper and new coated rotors and pads in the front, with clean and lube in the rear. Plus they replaced the engine air and cabin filters. $1150 all in. Yes, years ago I would have done all that myself, by my days of crawling around the garage floor doing that kind of work, are long gone.  ;)
